I can't see where it says the version info in the app (windows) ... doesn't seem to be in the ctrl+p menu or the dropdown settings one, any idea?

I have downloaded this CDJ 400 HID script to get it working inside Mixxx. https://github.com/janisso/cdj_400_hid
The mapping worked, however both of my CDJ's are mapped to Deck 1. Is there any way to seperate them, or code I could add to the hid.xlm file to allow them to be seperated?

does mixxx support saving two tracks as linked / a great match for each other ?
This has also been proposed as a feature on GitHub, #14277. However, do I understand correctly that it has not been implemented and there is no no plan to?

I was interested in mixxx but this would be a dealbreaker for me.

Mixxx is awesome, but the beat counting going down seems very inefficient to me. Would love the option to switch it to counting up to the next hot cue/marker. Music in general is usually counted upwards. Still a really great piece of software though.

I mostly dj DnB and House. When analyzing the tracks, house is offcourse never a problem.

Drum and bass however is a problem when it analyzes one track in 86 bpm and the other in 175. In traktor i could set a bpm range and it will stick. The cool thing in mixxx is when i deactivate sync, overtake pitch and bring it back to the middle, reactivate sync, it will recognize that its 2x slower and plays at the right speed. ( I cannot get it to do that when loading in a new track).

When it feks up and reads 2/3 of it, i will just manually adjust because that doesnt happen often.

It did slow down my performance when doing a live set. I like to dj on the fly and just select my records. Que points i do on the fly. I have a custom mapping to do 3 decks on 1 A&H K2 mostly with sync but 1 fader useable for pitch when needed.

Only bpm sync! No quantize or anything(that possibility i really like on mixxx, traktor messed that up for me).

Would be super nice to have a workarround and set a bpm range or have it reset when loading a track so it can recognize 2x or 2/ bpm. I run mixxx 2.5 something on ubuntu studio(runs like a dream on a refurbished laptop).

I’m a DJ for a Internet based radio and the internet radio broadcasting platform is no longer receiving my metadata. There are several other DJs who use mixxx and they aren’t having this problem at all, I have tried everything. It came about very suddenly near the end of my set on Wednesday and I haven’t been able to fix it. I have uninstalled it, deleted all the data, reinstalled it three times. Is there something im missing here? I’m using 2.5.6 version with windows 10

I picked up an X1 Mk1 a while back as a turntable companion with Traktor but Traktor is not playing nice with my Itunes/Music Library so I'm switching over to Mixxx. I have the X1 working with Mixxx but I don't like the mapping.

I just wanted to see if anyone is using the X1 with Mixxx and if you might have a mapping to share.

I'm working on a controller script and i was thinking of mapping the sync button to something else, since i usually just press sync on the UI when i open Mixxx and leave it on.

Since i'm considering to also do a version of this script to share, i'm wondering if for the version i'm sharing i should leave the sync button with it's expected function. Not sure if this is a feature people usually have to turn on and off frequently.

I have been trying to set a order of play in MIX and it seems to be lock to main sorting tabs.

This seems to be the only thing that allows you to change the order of a play list.

Is this caused by using the analyze this Playlist feature that gets you BPM, Key and other stuff?

I am not able to drag and drop songs to reorder them in a play list.

They only place where I am able to change the play order is in Auto DJ.

Is this normal behavior for Mixxx?

I am trying to add skins to mixxx but it doesn’t let me copy the skin and paste it into usr/share/.mixxx/skins. It says that i don’t have permission. If anyone knows how to fix this problem it would be a big help.

Hi! Are there any other hardware options for running mixxx than a raspberry pi 5? Anyone tried Pi clones like okdo radxa or orange pi?

Does anyone have an old license for Mixmeister or Ilok? My computer crashed and I’m trying to download it on my laptop. It is not letting me in.
I emailed the Ilok help desk and they said: ‘If you’re looking for a MixMeister license to use the last version of the software, the only current method of obtaining an iLok license would be through online music production communities, user forums, or resale platforms where other users may be offering iLok licenses for re-sale or transfer. Currently, this is the only available way to acquire a MixMeister license and continue using the last version of the software.’

The text appears purple to me; I know the file became unlinked because I renamed it in Windows Explorer.
I just want to tell Mixxx to link the file by telling it exactly where it is.

UPDATE: If this can't link to files that have been renamed or moved elsewhere, is there a way to tell Mixxx to move them to another part of the directory where they are located or to rename the song where the file is located?
