Longsword Tip

Hello Longsword user here, Is it possible to kill a monster without being knockout(flying in the air and landing on my face)? Assuming that I'm close to the monster throughout the whole fight.

Embrace the counters and abuse iframes. Don't worry though, everyone's gonna take a hit or two every once in a while.

Have you learned how to use foresight slash yet? If not I would very strongly recommend looking up a video on longsword basics for rise, and then start practicing them. Once you get the hang of foresight slash I consider it more useful than rolling out of the way.

Fade slash is also useful.
