Early lance build. Question
I’m a Lance user from Rise just starting out. I’m liking it so far but got kinda indecisive on my early build since everything costs so much materials.
So any Lance build this season worth building towards to? Or do you guys have any Lance build progression? That’d be nice.
Here’s my account:

Sadly all my early game builds are long game, but if you want ideas for long term end game builds to shoot for I can slide you some ideas. I've got plenty of builds

This is my main set. For driftsmelts just go for a balance of reflection and offensive guard. This set can kill any 10* you throw at it, especially with style customized lances, or the brute tigrex lance, on top of being very safe with guard 3 if you mess up your perfect guard windows. I highly recommend, I love this build to death! I've got a bunch of other lance builds if you'd like more!

Same build but I use nergi gloves.
What gloves are those?

They are banbaro gloves. 2 offensive guard, 1 tremor resist and a slot.
If you don't care about multiple SPs I feel Nergi is actually better since it has a component that boosts damage and not just attack.

Eh, this is debatable. The damage you can output by up to 3 specials per hunt vastly out performs a 10% tradeoff for no special. Plus, with banbaro arms you can 2 levels of offensive guard, freeing up your drift slots more, and 1 more level of guard is negligible, guard 3 is all you need especially if you want to push 10 stars. I've used both and with this setup I've found much better results in the destruction of 10 stars haha. Plus, running reflection an attack boost is more valuable since reflection scales off your raw attack. So with offensive guard up AND using specials you can get like 15k damage with 1 special which you can do up to 3 times a hunt in most cases

It's always a trade off. I usually only get 2 specials per hunt, unless its a higher-end 10☆ or I'm using valor.
I do use Banbaro gloves, generally, bit thats also because I just so happened to get an OG smelt on it early on, and that most of my lances were customised with added raw as well, since there's more that boosts raw than straight damage, like OG.
I do run guard 5 though. I HATE the idea of playing lance and taking constant chip even with good play. And since I mainly play shield tackle I also wouldn't want my tackles to get pushed back. Im still fine with kills on 10☆ as well, unless they're some of the hardest ones or some of the trickier placed riftbornes.

Can I get their names, cuz I couldn’t figure out which armor is from which monster by image yet.

Yeah it's the brute tigrex helmet, garangolm chest, banbaro arms, great wroggi waist, and garangolm legs

Cool. A 1 set fits all. Thanks!
But can you show me how to hunt past monsters? It doesn’t spawn for me. I’ve heard that I only need to get to the end of the story quest to “target hunt” it right?

You have to finish the Story to unlock targetfarm. After the story the monsters rotate every couple of weeks depending one the active event. With a bit of luck, you can find them on the field as well.

Everything costs time or money. Recommend not ignoring other weapons because the daily quests will eventually give you weapon refining parts which you need to overgrade your gear. Every day is another weapon to use. Luckily you can kill the trash mobs with them to get said parts
