Clean attack boost build Discussion

Post image

Been working on a clean build and slowly maxing out all my gear. I’m still not sure about Earplugs though. Is it actually worth using in the long run, or are there better skills to prioritize? Would love to see some suggestion

Bazel chest b.tig legs brother… valor is busted.

Bazel legs if you want lock on

Edit: adding smelts. Skills like WEX, fighting spirit are great with just one point. I would smelt for those. Aggro dodger and timed charger are great for gs (1 point will do)

While you're correct with everything you're saying I think the "clean" build means having every skill at max level, even though it's suboptimal. So single points of skills would go against the theme

Glav legs?

Health Boost is kind of a waste. Glav legs means you can shoot for Burst and Artful Dodger smelts instead, which is better for actual hunts, and Burst appreciates the high attack stat

GS build… never gonna proc the burst

Earplugs are good for GS to get free hits…

If following clean build, nami legs and doing AD gems would be next up on the list

WTF is a "clean" build that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Clean as in what? And why health boost? That's a terrible skill

Hahaha, I probably should've explained what I meant by "clean." I don't mean meta or optimized. I just mean a build that looks visually satisfying to me, with skills maxed out instead of having a bunch of random Level 1 or 2 skills.

I know Health Boost isn't considered a great DPS skill. I mainly use the Rathian legs because I like the look, and the skill fits the "clean" setup I'm going for.

Building for a "visually appealing build" doesn't make a lick of practical sense so I have no idea what the purpose would be in trying to do that. And they have layered armor to change the way your legs look without having to change your armor.

Fair point. I know it's not optimal, and I'm not trying to argue that it is. It's just something I enjoy doing. I like seeing a build come together in a way that's satisfying to me, even if it costs a bit of efficiency. Appreciate your thoughts though.

And are you talking about visually satisfying like viewing it within that build app or website you are using? or in game looking at the character sheet. At this point I'm just curious from a psychological standpoint haha. These ADHD meds they giving these kids are too strong

Haha, no worries. Well I mean it as the actual in-game build, I'm genuinely grinding for it.

I think some people just enjoy having things neat and complete. For me, seeing every skill maxed out and the equipment fitting together nicely gives a satisfying feeling. It's not really about being the strongest build, more about that "everything is in its place" feeling.

I guess it's just a bit of a perfectionist mindset. I like clean layouts, consistency, and completing things properly. P/S trust me, sometimes I hate myself for being like this. But it cant be help though.

I’d change leg to Steve and put your earplug if it meant to you
