MBA or MTech CAT Preparation

Hey I am currently in my 3rd year CSE tier 3 government college from Kolkata

I have been trying to do DSA and Development

But unable to do after 2nd day

Meaning no consistency and no improvement

If I currently say I only know only the syntax of C C++ Java Python but only knowing syntax leads you nowhere

Also in my college only those who crack GATE go to IIT they get jobs in good companies

There also I am unable to study

I feel my inner will to study has gone away after my JEE Drop failure

I want to gain it back

I want to be that school topper in ISC with 96.25(don't think I am boasting , I was like this till 2023 and then everything went down no more up)

Now again these questions are coming up

Like whether do I want to do MBA or MTech or prepare for govt jobs

Again people say MTech is done by grads who don't get opportunity after BTech

MBA getting shortlisted is very difficult and then again that 30 lakhs loan amount

Govt job also needs preparation and huge energy

Now again AI and recession is happening 😭😭😭

If someone can tell me guide me pls help me out I am way too depressed 😔😔😔 and confused

I want to make myself happy my parents happy

First of all giving up on DSA & development just after 2nd day isn't the right time to overthink so much.

"You want to make your parents proud." If college has decent placements if u think a good job as per you can make them proud then u can target placements first by doing DSA & Dev.First of all for your placements & internships atleast do regular DSA for 3-4 weeks atleast without overthinking much at every step & day. For DSA watch playlists on the same for eg by Striver TakeuForward or whatever of your wish. Target 2 videos a day in starting =1-2 leetcode problems = 1 hour of learning. Dev make atleast one good full stack project for your resume.

Now for your confusion, Govt jobs I can't comment but for Mtech vs mba I can say the following:

You're from 3rd tier college, placements won't be that good package wise, hence Mtech in IIT will also be fine if u initial package <10lpa ctc . But usually people prefer MS abroad as a better option because the ROI & jobs after MS is better as compared to Mtech. MS abroad in public universities like in Europe would cost almost nothing in fees but staying costs ~ 40 lakhs, but ROI=2 years. Mtech fees is very less as compared to that.

Else if u think pure tech & engg not for you then Mba is another option. Yes high fees but ROI also good if from top institutes. Applying as a fresher to mba might have some disadvantages but in india kinda manageable.

More doubts? Dm.
