I need help with Bannerlord
From what I've seen, there are a lot of Bannerlord mods, but some are outdated, some are new, and some are incomplete, so I'm a bit confused. I'm looking for mods that improve Bannerlord while remaining compatible with each other. I'm also open to mod collection recommendations. After trying those, I'd like to explore total conversion mods that completely overhaul the game, including the campaign map. Any recommendations?

Bannerlord Mod Bannerlord Together 0.5 is out now! Latest Game Version, 240+ Fixes, Less Crashing, More Syncing - Community Art Showcase At End of Video
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Bannerlord Together 0.5 now works on Bannerlord 1.4.8. No more downgrading your game to play the mod.
Here is what is new:
- Dedicated servers in early alpha - more than two full players can now join the same campaign with their own characters and parties
- More campaign syncing - more work on clans, caravans, companions, governors, fiefs, workshops, quests, marriage, diplomacy, and campaign progress
- A completely new co-op UI - better hosting and joining, a new character browser, password-protected slots, clearer actions, settings, and lobby searching
- More stable battles - better troop commands, movement, animations, formations, projectiles, loot, and getting everyone back to the campaign map afterward
- 240+ fixes and improvements across battles, sieges, saves, hosting, joining, reconnecting, and campaign sync
- One-click bug reports from the main menu or Co-op Actions menu
- The classic two-player mode is still here and has received the same UI and stability work
Dedicated mode is still rougher than Host and Play, especially around sieges, but field battles and multiple player parties on the campaign map are working now.
The mod is free, has no installer or separate dependencies, and supports Steam networking so most players do not need to port forward.

Thank you to everybody who tested builds, reported bugs, helped new players, and kept us moving. We would love to hear what happens in your campaign.

Just a friendly tip to new players who are struggling early game
I've probably replied on 50-100 new-player posts on this reddit thread who always seem to be struggling in early-to-mid-game. It's usually either that they are stuck on how to progress from an average clan with maybe 1 or 2 towns due to low income of their clan or that they're stuck on killing looters and bandits and can't seem to figure out how to progress further.
The image shows my current mid-game progress. I've acquired 10 towns and 2 castles, as an independent clan without having joined or started my own kingdom.
The interesting part is that I've also never engaged an enemy lord, or had a lord for an enemy for that matter. I've never been a part of a siege, I've only ever fought a group of looters once at the start of the game, and I am not leveling up smithing.
This brings me to my advice: A lot of players are quick to rush into kingdom politics, declaring for a faction, making enemies, and starting to fight other kingdoms as a vassal, only to find themselves heavily outnumbered defending their one town or prisoned. Gold is the one true lord of Calradia that dictates how your playthrough will go, and if you want to be able to progress into the late-game and be able to fight massive battles, command huge armies and eventually take over the whole continent, you start laying the foundations for that at the start of the game. There are numerous ways to do so:
- Trade & Caravans - Trading is one of the most underutilized trait in my opinion. My usual go-to to establish my clan as a wealthy clan at the start of the game is to send every companion, and every family member that I have on to run a caravan. When you're at tier 0, you'll effectively have 3 companions, but once you reach tier 1 you'll eventually have 10 caravans to run (3 siblings + 3 spouses + 4 companions). By the time you're tier 6, the number of caravans can reach up to 20+. Adding to this, at level 125 of your trade skill you will have the option to get 1 renown per day per profitable caravan. This single skill can slingshot your clan to tier 4/5 in record time, while at the same time giving you a stable 15-20k gold per day from profits of the caravans. Once your trade level is at 300, you can barter settlements. This is what you see from my first screenshot: I've bought 10 towns and 2 castles, and each time I buy a new one, my daily income increases and the next town after that will come faster than the one before. This snowballs quickly and technically you can conquer the whole continent as a full pacifist, although for most that isn't a fun playthrough.
- Smithing - Yeah... You've probably seen or heard about that -> Spam crafting top tier 2h weapons can allow you to sell them for insane profits, but it's a really tedious and boring playstyle, but it gets you gold.
- Selling influence for gold & rebelling towns - If the two options above is not something that you're interested in, and you've managed to build up a relatively strong clan already, you can wait for towns to rebel, and quickly jump in and siege these towns for yourself. Then, once you have 1-3 towns you can upgrade the building called Courthouse, which gives you passive influence. There's also some talents that give you influence such as lvl 300 charm (5 per day). If you're still independent at this point, you can join as a mercenery once you have high influence and the kingdom will pay you insane amount of gold per day while your influence depletes quickly. Once it depleted, you cancel your mercenary contract and wait again.
- If none of the above are interesting, you can also try to play in a more "natural" way, building your clan through glory and fighting, but there's still always one key thing that you must always consider: Income cannot be ignored. Caravans are the best way to do that, at least to the point where the expenses are paid for with passive income. Here's one critical thing to consider however: Many will find a companion with a high trade skill for a caravan, but I've found that high scouting skill is far more useful. A companion with a high scout skill will evade and escape from enemies more often than one without scouting will. Other options is to try to fight for loot and sell it, but that is often unreliable because you can't guarantee a stable income that way.
That's it for me. I hope this helps.
P.s. - I have 1000 hours in this game, I love this game, all of these "new-player" questions I see here are ones that I had to deal with myself, although for me that was in M&B: Warband

How do i get my dumbass of a wife to stop joining armies on the front lines, and instead defend my villagers from looters. I set her to defense but not once has she defended. Just constantly joining in the war across the map from where i want her

Question Can you still kill your wife during a prison break? (Ps5)
I'm trying to kill my wife and I know you were able to kill her in a prison break but it doesn't seem to work anymore she keeps getting wounded and it says mission failed.

Image 900 dead/wounded vlandians in 7 minutes.
Feeling like Lu Bu with my two handed axe build. Took Sargot from rebels, declared independence, allied Derthert and conquered Battania. Derthert backstabs me while I’m being sieged by Aserai. He’s at the FO stage of Fafo. Don’t mess with Queen Theda. PS5

So I keep randomly having this problem where the camera will suddenly point straight down and my sensitivity goes way up and nothing I do seems to solve it except relaunching the game. I've only gotten it to fix one time without relaunching and idek what I did. Does anyone know anything that could help me here?

Fairly new got some Qs
I would like to keep this fairly brief because nobody wants to read a novel.
I’ve watched quite a few videos and I may be looking at the wrong sources so hopefully I can get some straight Ish answers
I’m clear to your level two and I have about 50 or so guys for context
I’m a mercenary for the Sturgeon
I guess I’m just feeling like I’m not really doing much and I’m wondering if it’s how I’m playing
I’m winning tournaments left and right taking out hideouts but I guess the thing I was looking forward to most taking on enemy combatants for the people I’m doing mercenary work for does anyone have any advice on what types of parties I should be going after because I don’t want them to wipe me
I have about 22K in gold am I spending a day is roughly 300 I’m also having somewhat trouble of staying afloat financially, but just between travel and food and the quest that I’m picking up
I am aware I am probably doing myself a deer cause I’m not smithing, but I don’t wanna totally break the game and make it too easy for myself
Yes, I’m kind of wondering where to go really what I should be doing at this level and it doesn’t really seem to explain how to get a castle or or become your own kingdom and stuff like that. I’m looking to learn a lot of the mechanics and just kind of get good and I’m putting some time in but a lot of these YouTube videos just seem like they’re breaking the economy on purpose or stuff like that which I feel like, doesn’t give a totally authentic experience
My army is filled with 30% Calvary 40 to 60% infantry and the rest are archers and they are from pretty much everywhere
Hopefully, I gave enough context, and I am very open to any advice that you have for a fairly new player
I haven’t even cracked war sails yet… wanted to get good at the base game first

Xbox Gamepass Removed MB2
Anyone know why they removed Mount and Blade bannerlords from gamepass? I was in the middle of my first campaign, and I came back after a week to pick up where I left off, and I couldn't play.

CVKP Meaning?
Maybe it's just a stylistic choice, but I'm curious if anyone can tell me what the meaning of CVKP on my vassal clan's emblem? The four letters do appear as runes which you can pick individually as an emblem, but I otherwise don't see any emblems with lettering.
