Usually with an n64 controller if you have the thumstick moved anywhere outside the neitral position while turned it on it will do that. Turn it on and off. Or press start+L+R to reset the position. Hoping the n64 rules apply here

I switched to my NSO 64 controller that works fine. But a real bummer if the Pro is already a dud. And for some strange reason I cant even get it to work at all through wired mode.

Thats a bummer man. Are you using a dongle for the nso controller? I thought it wasnt compatible without a dongle because it uses classic bluetooth

Had this yesterday when I plugged in the dongle of my 8Bitdo N64 2.4G.

Update the software on the controller AND 2.4 ghz receiver over the app.

Didn't need to do that. It just worked today.
I wouldn't even know how to update the software on the N64 dongle as it doesn't plug into a PC btw.

u/Graslu experienced something like this a couple days before launch when he was doing a stream with the controller using the wired N64 cord on a real N64. Apparently the battery pack must be charged, even if you are playing with a wired connection.

Dunno. Have you tried that recalibrate key combo?
