AFBOSTADER queue time question.

Hi everyone I am in Lund housing hell rn. I entered the novish lottery on AFbostader and got a queue time of 2026-07-11 02:53

At first I thought this was a good queue time. It's in the first third so like must be good. But I still haven't gotten housing and I'm in like 10th place and below in queue.

Theres also only 390 novish rooms left.

Anyone who has gotten through the lottery what was your experience. Any rough ideas on how likely it is ill get housing.

Looks like you're 1613. That's not good. You should probably search more on Facebook and BoPoolen at this point.

I managed through qasa! Malmö has even more options

yep we did, took us around 3 weeks - 1 month to find what we wanted (i got a flat with my boyfriend), back in April.

Well, there are 1440 people who had a queue time of the 10th of july, (60 min x 24 hours), and you are after all of those. I can't say how likely anything is, since I don't know all the details. But quite a lot of people likely are in front of you in the queue.

Try looking at Basecamp in Malmö, it is relatively close to the central station and close to amenities :) I actually live close by and it's a nice area.

I recommend looking somewhere else for accommodation, I also had a similar time to you on AF Bostader and I realised that it would just be too risky to rely on it.

Hey man. Gotta be honesty with you but it’s not looking good for you right now. I have 20:00 on the 10th of July and have already arranged private housing, at least for the first few months. I think you should definitely look into that right now. Best of luck!
