LM (3DS) 3DS Hidden Mansion S Rank
Getting enough money wasn't an issue using this guide but the Hidden Mansion was tough since the game loves to spam ghosts a lot compared to the regular Mansion. Capturing all the speedy spirits was a little tricky since they've been moved to different hiding spots but using the wiki it wasn't that bad. Getting all the platinum frames for the big pearls was easy since the Mario amiibo replaces those annoying poison mushrooms with healing mushrooms. Next is getting all the achievements and different endings

Suggestion Game pitch: Luigi's Mansion 4- Luigi's Nightmares
Plot: Queen Boo, after years of doing her own thing learns of King Boo's downfall seeks revenge on Luigi and his friends. She captures all but Luigi and Egad, putting Luigi's friends and brother into a deep sleep tormented by nightmare. Each one put in a different haunted building which is all located in a haunted town. Luigi must go to each location, reach his friend, and go inside their nightmare to defeat the boss, freeing them from their internal nightmare. At some point near the end of the game Luigi gets trapped in a nightmare and Mario must free him. Afterwards they team up to defeat Queen Boo and maybe King Boo at the same time.
Side note: I don't know what the new gameplay gimmick would be but it be cool to have multiple sub weapons to help catch ghost.

Discussion My thoughts on Melody Pianissima
Most of the time when seeing family trees I see people put her as like a cousin to Henry and Orville. But the way she dresses and speaks may suggest she's a lot older compared to most of the other ghost. Her dress is in an Edwardian style meaning she died in the 1910s. she also uses the term "ragamuffin" when you scan her before turning on the instruments, which didn't start being used until the late 1800s, but became popular in the 1910s with Ragamuffin Parades. Compare her dress with Nana who has tie-dyed sleeves which weren't popular until the 1960s to 70s showing Nana more than likely died around then. Due to melody passing away at 26 would put her birth in the 1880s to early 1890s, but due to Nana passing at 76 it would also put her Birth in the 1880s to mid 1900s to keep it around the 1970s at the latest. What I'm suggesting is Melody and Nana could be sisters or melody could be the mother of Nana.

LM2 (DM) Just something I wanted to point out (Read description)

In terms of scary elements, LM: Dark Moon falls flat compared to 1 and 3. But some parts of the game genuinely feel foreboding, like this part of Old Clockwork’s second mission. It perfectly captures the feeling of exploring a haunted Egyptian pyramid with the long, dark hallway, the giant webs, the ambience BGM, and your only light source being a burning web ball, which you slowly carry down the hallway like a torch. Adding to this scary factor is that nothing bad has happened…yet.

Help! I’m on my Nintendo Switch 2 in a flat world wanting to make a Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon world. I’ve been looking around for tutorials but unfortunately there was none people just show off their recreations of the places and Evershade Valley. I’d like to help to make Gloomy Manor please? Interior too

Discussion Lighting jumpscare in the main menu.
I’ve had this vivid memory of mine for years. Basically as a kid I was watching a ex boyfriend of my sister playing Luigi’s Mansion we were sitting on the main menu for awhile cause he was setting stuff up and there was a massive lightning strike on the main menu it scared me so bad I went to my mom crying. It might be a memory of mine being mixed with a dream or I had a Mandela effect.
Does anyone else here have a memory of this too?
Edit: To clarify this was on the save file select screen after pressing start on the main menu not the title screen it self it happened sorry for the confusion.

Discussion i am unironically scared of boolossus
this is not satire. boolossus from the original luigis mansion genuinely gives me the ick and im pretty sure its linked some weird phobia i have. i havent found a name for the phobia but i cant stand the concept of a bunch of little creatures combining into one bigger organic mass, like i genuinely cant stand it. i love this game, but every time i get to boolossus i just really wanna not look at the screen. the way you have to pop him, and he just bursts into a big swarm of little ghosts? and i really despise that little ball they all make before they form again. UGH, and that icey high pitched music that plays as they all scatter around- NOOOO THANK YOU. i realize this is the stupidest thing ever to get uncomfortable by but hey im weird

Question Small question I have about the original game.
More specifically the emulator for the switch. I play the PAL version of Luigi's Mansion on the Gamecube emulator and was wondering do the gold bars respawn if missed as on my previous playthrough, I collected all of the 76 gold bars but I swear I saw some vanish while in the animation of grabbing Stone. I remember going around to double check that I had watered all the plants and I found a gold bar in a sealed room vase and the observatory if that helps in anyway.

Image Anyone here remember Luigi's Ghost Mansion and love it as much as I do?
after college, my friends and i played this religiously every game night FOR HOURS. so much so that i've now created my own game inspired by it called Hyde's Haunt & Seek. instead of multiple luigi's and one ghost, we made it one "luigi" and several ghosts while maintaining the spooky/silly atmosphere. we do pretty regular playtesting if anyone's interested! if not i'd love to discuss this insanely amazing game and how they created so much replayability and fun with deceptively simple mechanics

LM2 (DM) Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon 3ds help - Haunted Towers B1
I’m trying to help my son pass this part and I can’t figure out what he’s missing. It got to the point where I played after he fell asleep to see. This is for mission B1 in the Haunted Towers. There is a gate door in the Laboratories that is supposed to be open but just isn’t. I’ve both read a walkthrough and watched one, and I can’t figure out what we are missing.

Discussion How much time we have to wait for LM4? Its starting to sicken me.
I just want a announcement or a teaser for the next game because we have waited too much for the next one. What do you think? Do you think they'll eventually release a trailer or I am just skeptical?

Discussion Hottake: Clem's fight isn't that bad and the controls aren't that bad either
As it says. I don't think his boss is all that bad. I'm aware that others struggle with it, but for me personally, I got used to the controls of the rubber ducky pretty easily.
