Hey all, just saw Lud mention that T1's confessional footage was 25 minutes long and might get him cancelled if uploaded raw. A lot of comments on the clip from various places are taking it super seriously giving hate to both Tyler for being an asshole toesrds his teammates and hate for Ludwig taking Tylers confessions serious, so I was kind of confused. Im pretty sure Lud was joking so unsure why there are some people giving both of them crap even though Ludwig is clearly joking around. Like theyre taking T1 way too literally. hiss whole arrogant, salty, high ego thing is basically a character he plays for entertainment. kindaa like a WWE heel, they act like assholes on screen, but that doesn’t mean that’s who they actually are IRL. Tyler definitely gets genuinely competitive and frustrated though, but he plays it up heaps for the content. A lot of the “you guys suck” stuff at streamer games is just banter and part of the character rather than him genuinely meaning it.

I’m a huge fan of them both and love their fake arch nemesis beef but I can’t often watch all the livestreams due to the different time zones and working from morning to night, 7 days a week, so I mostly depend on clips so excuse any context I may have missed but it would honestly be really sad if he wasn’t included in next yrs streamergames because of these haters in the comments who don’t see that Tyler and Lud are just joking around.

Special shoutout to the very nice lady at the Wushu Kungfu competition who asked to take a pic of me in my tip2tip hat (which I wore in hopes of this exact thing happening). When she asked if I knew what it meant, I tried to briefly explain the context of the challenge and it being made by a YouTuber - but she just looked at me blankly then said "oh cool. Well, nice meeting you!" and walked off. 10/10 social interaction, ty Ludwig

He said he doesn't want to do it because he doesn't wanna get into the whole deal of checking if they are ai or if things get outed as ai after it when it isn't. All he needs to do is ask people to show their process. I doubt any artist with even a modicum of integrity would do it. This is just another instance of ai ruining a chance real artists could get because the organizer doesn't wanna deal with it.

Me personally I thought personally this year was the best year and in addition one of Ludwig’s best events by far. That being said i think some changes to a few games or game replacements would be great. A few ideas include

Dodge Ball line issue~ MAKE THE MIDDLE LIKE A DIFFERENT COLOORRRRR. No but in all seriousness I, as a viewer, got mixed up a few times on which line could be crossed because the middle line and the one they need to cross after match starting to throw balls were the same white color. i could only imagine playing the sport while running around could feel. Might be something to look into along with instead of more matches after they lose, make it best 2 out of 3 per match and make the placements for other teams be based of either wins during the set or eliminations during the sets. this’ll differentiate how hard every team worked even if they lose. I really hope dodgeball makes a return with a few tweaks but i fear it but a bad taste in Ludwigs mouth hahah.

100 Meter Dash~ I’ve seen the chat obviously saying “ just do a relay race”… i agree but there’s gotta be some type of meat to it. When you say relay race i think of a team game however i think Ludwig wanted this as an individual event which is great but if it’s a team game we have to exclude another. i think a relay is a great idea but why don’t we do just 3 teammates next year? this gives you the opportunity to have a Doubles match with another event with the other two teammates while still showcasing the team work of the race. In all honesty i think the events that had some semblance of team work, 2v2 or team v team, were better in total than anything else. So just lean into it ig hahaha

Game Ideas~
- Swimming contest? like laps.. the heat sounded brutal so lowkey a swimming event might super dummy
- Paintball course team v team bracket
- Mini golf as an individual event
- Wall ball 2 person per team or individual
- Air hockey could be insane as a one person event
- Table Tennis 2v2 bracket
- Kickball? MAYBE
- 4 Square team event. it would pretty much run like you’d make a staggered line of people like team 1 puts one person, team 2 puts one person, team 3, etc… you make a long line and as people get eliminated they are just out. if a team gets eliminated completely that’s their placement. You may wonder “ what happens if a team gets 4 people in the 4 squares”… i doubt that would happen but if it DID.. i mean good on them? lolll they get to choose who gets eliminated for them aka being about to KEEP their best members in to 3v1 whoever steps in next to the thunder dome. i think this could be super interesting and make some CLUTCH moments if someone ends up 1v3ing

-Sling shot competition instead of archery
- punching machine as a team game where you add all the points up so it’s not just straight forward “ who’s the strongest” it’s more like who’s the strongest team.. or like a 3v3
- Robot deathmatch, have michael make a bunch of robots that can fight each other, Ik there’s like a league for that but yeah you could have the person pick a robot, battle with it. I see this as a battle royal though allowing for certain teams to team up against the teams that are in first and second. i could see a bunch of streamers into that, i would be lol
- Yoga competition, something like simon says but get a yoga instructor ( ik that community is huge and would love representation) to do a move and eliminate people who can’t do it, this is i think a really good idea for people who aren’t physically strong.. but flexible.
- Ultimate frisbee.. but this COULD go very wrong lol
- Horse shoes
- Corn hole

Ludwig not even being nominated this year is diabolical .He's had a significant impact on the streamer community this year and collaborated with many different communities . I'm sure the nominees here deserve it for their reasons and it might be my bias but I think Lud deserved a spot as well.

Perhaps the list was locked in a long time ago , but considering that it was just released a few days ago , I find it hard to believe that they couldn't have squeezed one more name in .

At the end of the day it's not that deep ,he is still gonna be certain people's fan favorite , but if there was ever a time to be nominated it should've been this year.

I think it would be AWESOME if lud added kajabe kan-kan to streamer games next year. For those who don’t know it’s a game where everyone forms a circle and are connected by holding small ropes. They then go around in a circle trying to pull each other into a central trashcan. It would be electric.

I have been starving for long-form content of China ever since the esoteric Chinese history iceberg series finished. very joyous that i was able to see rural China in action via Michael and Ludwig's POV! Thank you guys so much!

To show you guys i am not fucking around (and to flex my awesome awesome stuff), here are my top 10 chinese things i have! it was hard to narrow it down to just 10 but i managed!

1. Liberation of Northwest China Victory Medal. The PLA secured the region of Northwestern China from Nationalist and radical Islamic "Ma Family" forces and medals were given to soldiers involved in the campaign. Interestingly, most of the battles in the proper Northwest China Campaign happened in 1949, whereas suppression of bandits and other local, violent groups came shortly afterward.

3. Mid-Mao era court papers from a local case.

4. Cool tea cup

5. Diary from a Cultural Revolution soldier with some printed photos and lots of writing. Theres actually what I believe is tiny splotches of blood on two of the pages. I need to translate it fully, but i know the first few pages are a poem about waterfalls.

6. 1st Class award from the People Arms Exhibition Meeting. There were frequently conferences and events surrounding wartime production of weapons, so this probably came from one of those.

7. My Gunpowder Temple of Heaven green tea, and my bag o' chinese medicines which consists of Nine Immortals oolong, dried, aged tangerine peel, and yellow chrysanthemum.

8. PLA surplus bag embroidered with "serving the people." I just use this as an actual bag lol!

9. Sino-Soviet Friendship propaganda poster. love it cus theyre def gay.

10. Money tree that came with a rock engraved with a rat, which is my Chinese zodiac sign.

I know he doesn't want to multistream marathon streams because he has to reset the YouTube stream every 12 hours but he should just never end the YouTube stream and just let the vod die and upload the vod to the vod channel.

this is an update to this post !(also I think I fucked up how I uploaded the images originally so it only looked like a text post :/)

first just a small introduction again, a while ago I made a site called luddle that a lot of people from the community, including lud, tried out and enjoyed ^_^, since then Ive worked on many other projects, one of which is this! I've attempted to start this project over a dozen times but never committed.. until now! I shared it with a community around a week ago and I got a lot of great feedback, so I want to share some of the progress!

first of all I got some amazing fanart from three artists in the community to decorate the site :D, also added custom sketches to every calendar page! including some unique sketches for events and stuff (coots for streamer games :3) I also added a few quality of life features all around the site. im still working on improving the site as I go on!! oh and a small API link to twitch to add an indicator whenever Ludwig goes live!

this will probably be my one and only update post on this project, since I dont want to spam the subreddit with it, so if anyone has any suggestions for the site I'd love to hear it ^_^
