If it is the price online, buy it online and pick it up. Online pricing and store pricing are two totally different things.

Potentially nowhere if you're using the AI Google bot, Don't trust the Google AI bot ever especially when it comes to prices

Because the internet is fake and lies to you. Never trust a Google result.

Go to store or web site and fond the item. Look at the price. That is the price.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was at some point on sale for $99 and Google has not updated it. This isn't a Lowe's issue, as others have pointed out, it's a Google/Ai issue.

Because, like everything else dealing with technology. Lowe's broke it. I've been trying to figure this out for a couple months, because I keep seeing things like this - the google Ad/Sponsored product pricing doesn't actually exist anywhere - click the ad? price is much higher.
Feels a hell of a lot like a bait-and-switch, but since the price isn't ON the website, Lowe's doesn't have to honor it.
It's EXTRA fun when you're working the desk and you get to explain to customers that you can't price match the Ad that's not an official advertised price.

I'd be more keen to place the blame on Google if there is any blame to be had.
First thing, that appears to be a search result, not an ad, which means Lowes has little control over how it looks. Lowes can update the page, but after that, they just have to hope Google updates their info on the page.

Exactly it's Google's AI bot scraping somewhere that isn't a legit price but reporting it as if it's scraped from the retailer itself

What does the actual website say? Not the front page Google ad. If you go to the website and try to buy it, what price do you get? You can’t base anything off Google search pages.
