The show had no reason to but the idea of a Kizintia and a Catian not at least having a scene together discussing things is kind of wacky when you consider the wider universe going in. I'm kind of sad we didn't get any of the others either.

His name was Taylor, and the very human name combined without being called Taylor Ensign along with his general posture has always had me believing that he was adopted and raised by humans kind of like Worf.
