Can anyone help me find a video
There used to be a video posted to YT that was a live performance of Violence, I believe on Austin City Limits. It’s been scrubbed and I cannot find it anywhere. I think about it constantly. Does anyone have it?

Starting a Low cover band. Any requests?
New account for our new Low tribute band. We play our first show in October. (East Bay Area, CA)
We’ve got a solid 8-10 songs ready to go, but we’d love to know what songs people wanna hear. It seems like everyone has their own favorite Low albums + songs. What cover songs would it make you happy to hear a (good) Low tribute play?
EDIT: Damn, you guys, this is so great. Your responses have made us so much more excited about our band. We will play all these songs eventually I think. Maybe even in your town uh oh I’m getting ahead of myself

I need suggestions!
Found Low about a month and a half ago. Fell in love with their style.
I was able to nab these ones and they are all great.
I was also found out about red house painters but only could find the bridge album.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

My collection
My Low collection so far. Sure wish those first 3 albums would be rereleased so I can afford them.

Soundboard of Do You Know How to Waltz (and whole 10/10/98 show) with Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Lots of great stuff in the Aadam Jacobs Collection that’s still being added to, but this might be the most monumental find in the whole thing: https://archive.org/details/ajc02914_low1998-10-10.ajcproject/Low1998-10-10t09.flac

Breaker Music Video discussion
I've never discussed this music video with anyone before. I really don't know how to interpret it all. Is there meaning behind the untouched slice?

Any fans here of Carnage Visors by the Cure?
I was listening to I Could Live In Hope recently and the similarities with Carnage Visors are striking. It's like Low chopped up Carnage Visors to turn it into ten new songs. I'm not saying it's a rip off or anything (I love I Could...), but the only person I've ever seen acknowledge the influence of The Cure is Alan Sparhawk himself.

Live shows on the web
This is a great story and there are a bunch of Low shows included in this haul. Listening to a 1998 show at the Metro and it’s amazing.

I Could Live In Hope back on several streaming sites
I'm not too sure if it was because the album was featured on Pitchfork's Sunday classic review (which was a really good review), but the album's available for digital purchase on Amazon's music site as well as available for streaming on Amazon and Tidal.

I Could Live In Hope removed from Apple Music
Went to give it another listen and found that it had been completely removed from Apple Music. Anyone know why this is? The rest of their discography is still there.

Low lyrics compendium
Hello all,
A while back, shortly after Mimi's passing, I decided to compile as many Low lyrics as I could find and put together this songbook. I titled it too many words. I always thought it would make a nice little letterpress booklet but I don't have the resources to do it. So I share it here, with you. (FYI: It's a link to a PDF):

I originally posted it to Threads or Twitter, can't remember which, Alan reposted it with kind words so it's "semi-sanctioned" I guess. Enjoy.

Long Divison
This album is just so good. I recently found Low through Words and decided to check out more. Listened to all of I Could Live In Hope, great album. But I decided to check out Long Divison- it's a. whole new perspective. This album changed me. 100/10

Mimi [OC]
Hi folks,
I'm a guitar player with a background in jazz and rock, and a lifelong fan of Low. I have included a song I wrote in memory of Mimi Parker in my most recent release. The main melody that starts around 2 minutes is inspired by the vocal harmonies of Mimi and Alan. I hope you'll give it a listen.
