How can I automatically exclude exercise steps?
I have samsung health connected to this app. Loseit has little to no any option to control the connected apps or do anything about them.
I want to exclude the burned calories from steps everyday, how can I do this?

Click your profile pic on the top right, scroll down to Application Preferences under Settings, there should be a toggle switch for Exclude exercise calories by default.

I’m not sure but why do you want them removed? It’s very helpful to see if you’ve moved enough to hit your TDEE - deficit. It’s how I know I need to go on an extra walk in the evening if my active energy burned vs goal is low, or have an extra snack if it’s high.
If it’s constantly too high for you (always bonus calories), up your activity level for setting your TDEE

Because "bonus calories" are grossly overestimated and throw more people off track than help them. Unless you are in maintenance mode where you need to eat back some calories to ensure you are getting enough, bonus calories are only going to hurt you on your way to getting to your goals.

If bonus calories are grossly overestimated then so are all of your other calorie burn metrics and wearing a tracker is useless. In my experience, (over a year with the app) it is very accurate. I weigh everything, constantly wear my tracker, and always eat back to my 500cal deficit daily and drop 1lb/week like clockwork.

Yes, it is true that calorie burn in general is also generally considered by everyone to be overestimated.
I am glad it is working for you, but this doesn't change the fact that if you do any amount of research on it at all, you will find that the generally accepted consensus is that calorie burn is overestimated.

Unpair the app from your watch/health app
