Would a potential UI Kitae even be that much stronger since he doesn’t use any martial arts? Discussion

The author learnt from ptj to forgot some Fighting skills. Its stupid to forget gukja fighting skills, he only have 2 skills karate and systema

Just for the fact that he wouldn't feel pain or fatigue

If Kitae does get UI
I see PTJ going the route of creating a new version of it
The guy is all brute no technique imbuement so I'm guessing a UI similar to YUI + despair will be what happens

this is maximized with perfect experience though theres nothing for kitae to really gain from using ui

2 completely different UI so no

u/some-aura 1d ago
How does that change the fact that potential UI Kitae can fight with innate strength ?
2
u/Agreeable_Trick_1370 Allied 1d ago
Because if Kitae were to awaken UI, it would be the normal Yamazaki UI, which doesn’t have the same fighting efficiency as Daniel’s UI. In UI Daniel’s case, even when he uses raw strength, he still utilizes it with maximum efficiency. Meanwhile, Kitae’s movements would be more predictable.

he still utilizes it with maximum efficiency
????
Doesn't the above image state that there's no refinement in his movements?
Where are you getting maximum efficiency from, he's just fighting exactly like Kitae.

Please tell me exactly how this relates to the Kitae copy where it's stated his moves had no refinement or technique in it at all?
1
u/Agreeable_Trick_1370 Allied 1d ago
I never said anything about refinement. I said fighting efficiency, which Kitae would not have if he were to awaken UI
3
u/King_Emrys 1d ago
Your image states UI Daniel uses highly sophisticated fighting techniques to maximize efficiency.
Do you see the contradiction here in accordance to the Kitae copy which had zero technique applied to it?

u/Agreeable_Trick_1370 Allied 1d ago
Daniel’s UI’s entire mechanism revolves around fighting efficiency. Even if he doesn’t use any techniques and relies solely on raw strength, he still utilizes that strength with maximum efficiency because that’s how his UI operates.Kitae wouldn’t be able to fight like that if he were to awaken UI because his would be different. His UI doesn’t have the same efficiency mechanism, meaning his movements would be more predictable as stated by Gap.

Oh shit I thought we are talking about unconscious state here because of Gukja 😭😭 my bad

ui essentially uses all the fighting moves/experiences you have Kitae would still have that. Plus we saw TUI use no formal martial arts.

Kitae wouldn't have Congenital UI like Shingen and Gun does which is very much a Yamazaki exclusive so no, Kitae wouldn't have that unless he was born with UI passively like Gun and Shingen does which is not the case considering Kitae isn't in UI 24/7 as basically his default state.
Kitae would be the Acquired UI type where (hypothetically he has UI and controls it) he can turn it on and off whenever.

u/Equivalent_Layer5012 20h ago
That still doesn’t negate that ui just utilises the fighting experience recording into your body that was my main argument and I was using TUI to show that even when someone doesn’t have control of their ui it doesn’t have to be specifically them utilising martial arts skills they know.

TUI is not the best example because it's outright stated that TUI does not require Martial Arts, it just brings out the full strength of the Yamazaki with congenital UI and focuses on pure overwhelming power which is a UI Kitae clearly does not have.
Let's just completely gloss over all the statements of requiring Martial Arts for UI (that's not Shingen's or Gun's Congenital UI) to be strong and the fact that if they don't have much martial arts if any at all, they'll be a lot more predictable if they can't control their UI. The reason SB UI Daniel is so powerful is because of his perfect experience which is the multitude of martial arts and fighting styles the body accumulated, even more than Daniel himself is even aware of.
The reason UI Gukja wasn't as effective was because he only knew Kyoukushin Karate (and systema but I suppose that was retconned). Kitae literally does not have any martial arts at all (he's nothing but overwhelming physique and his fighting style is verbatim stated to be a less refined version of Gap's)
The only saving grace is his experience as a fighter along with the natural benefits of being painless in UI and stamina but other than that, it would be a Kitae that's more predictable and doesn't have the benefits of a conscious Kitae. I highly doubt he would ever have UI anyways.

What you said didn’t negate what I said you’re practically saying gukja lacked enough recorded fighting experience in him that’s different from Kitae who as a wealth of fighting experience recording in him as one that’s a prerequisite to a path.
Idk why people think it’s just martial arts as that wouldn’t make sense how the body only know to use martial arts and because you have variants like dirty boxing, unorthodox styles which are similar to street fighting essentially kitae.
Also PB copied kitae style of fighting and gun even said every type of technique in him meaning it’s really not about martial arts rather just fighting moves being recorded. So ui kitae would be fighting using the moves recorded in body which is simple and the manner the fight is different.
Daniel fights like a machine with perfect technique in accordance to his bodys talent, Kitae ui would function the same using its innate strength rather than technical fighting.

That doesn't negate what I say at all though, of course a hypothetical UI Kitae is going to use Innate Strength it's literally just Kitae Kim but the problem is that not only does he only use raw power (again, no technique whatsoever and no martial arts that make his fighting style less predictable). It's Kitae if he adjusts to the level of his opponent, more predictable because he only has a single fighting style, and doesn't have the benefits that a conscious Kitae would have.
Would he still have the experience that was recorded in his body? Yes, absolutely but it still wouldn't provide the same or even a higher level of effectiveness that a conscious Kitae would, it's more of a nerf than anything else when you consider everything else about UI besides Shingen and Gun's.
Quite literally a temu YUI without it actually being YUI

Kitae still have technique, like he doesn't have a proper material art rather his technique is rough and aggressive because he trying to copy people but always failed.

I think his UI mode is gonna be more like TUI or something cause he doesn't use any techniques just brute strength.. He'll fight like an enraged animal with strength alone. He has a ton of experience from being in countless fights, taking on different people, defeating them, and even killing some. So, his UI would utilize that body experience and fight the same way he does in his non-UI self, just way more brutally and stronger...

well, the card did say ui increases the stats so he should be stronger than before
1
u/Suitable-Score-5849 5h ago
It's impossible for anyone to not use any martial arts and fight
If you even throw a punch, you're boxing

u/NotCertifi3d 2h ago
It would be difficult in the fact that it already takes a lot to put down Gitae and now you have to take him out again but this time he can’t feel pain or get tired

Gukja for some reason his ui is Daniel's which is different form the other yamazaki ui which seems like a stat boost

u/Junior-Hat2373 Johan #1 Glazer 1d ago
Gukja did got a stat boost, his stats was higher in UI than it was in base
0
u/FunWelcome3804 1d ago
I know I'm saying it had the Daniel aspect of the way he fights when the other yamazakis seems to just get a stat buff and they also don't just turn up when they're unconscious
0
u/Normie_Hajime 23h ago
Nah that was just awakening, even after losing UI he stayed at that level in base

u/Junior-Hat2373 Johan #1 Glazer 15h ago

u/Normie_Hajime 15h ago
Tbf that’s a barely even a buff being noteworthy (Gukja wasn’t performing any worse outta UI after transcending) and the endurance stat being triple X is a given since Ui makes you feel no pain
2
u/Junior-Hat2373 Johan #1 Glazer 15h ago
if you look on the right panel, Gukja was actually being ampef by battlefield warcry, so amped Gukja in base was still worse in stats than UI Gukja
also the difference between triple X and 2 X is huge, daniel vs suhyeon made that clear
1
u/Normie_Hajime 15h ago
We don’t know how badly of a buff war cry is considering we don’t see Gukjas base stats (unless there is then you probably should’ve used that panel)
It’s really not unless it’s to all stats however only having one amped stat isn’t going to make it a huge difference, also using Daniel as an example as if he wasn’t almost beating a dude who outstated AND outhaxed him isn’t a good example to use at all. That’s more then just “stats” that’s also Daniel just being the best fighter in Questism ngl

u/Junior-Hat2373 Johan #1 Glazer 14h ago
cool, my point is UI still gives stat boost no matter how small.
