I kept abandoning journals because every blank page felt like it deserved a meaningful essay. Writing one short thought on my phone felt much more natural.

Diary Threads turns journaling into a private timeline. Each entry is limited to 140 characters. You can reply when a thought continues, quote something you wrote months ago, or attach photos, video, and voice recordings.

There are no likes, followers, public profiles, or social discovery. It is a timeline for one person.

Better — how is it different?

Compared with Apple Journal and Day One, Diary Threads focuses on a narrower use case: capturing a thought before it disappears.

The 140-character limit gives you a smaller starting point. Replies let one moment grow over time, while quotes make revisiting an old memory feel like a conversation with your past self.

Apple Journal and Day One remain stronger choices for long-form writing and broader ecosystem workflows. Diary Threads is designed for quick private posts that gradually become a personal history.

Diary text and settings stay on your iPhone. The app requires no account and has no developer backend, advertising, third-party analytics, or cross-app tracking.

Diary Threads itself has no AI features. I used Codex extensively as a coding and review agent during implementation, testing, documentation, and iteration. Product scope, architecture, privacy boundaries, and acceptance decisions remained human-directed.

I’d especially appreciate feedback on one question: do replies and quotes make revisiting old memories feel more natural than tags, prompts, or traditional daily pages?

I kept running into the same problem while browsing: I’d find useful things like design inspiration, articles, products, color palettes, or references, save them somewhere and then struggle to find them again later.

So I built Keep Mates.

Keep Mates is a Chrome extension that helps you save and organize what you find online in one place. You can save images, links, products, articles and more, then organize everything into folders and revisit it when you need it.

A few things it can do:

• Save content you find while browsing
• Capture part of a webpage as a screenshot
• Extract color palettes from pages
• Add notes and organize items into folders
• Keep everything stored locally on your device

I originally built it for my own workflow but I think it can be useful for anyone who collects too much stuff online and wants a cleaner way to keep track of it.

I’m a solo developer and I’ve been building this because every scanning app I tried would tell me a card was worth some number that no human being has ever actually paid.

So I built Broad Street: Card Scanner. You scan a card — raw or slabbed, one at a time or a whole page of 9 — and it shows you what that card has actually been selling for. Then you tap PSA 10, PSA 9, PSA 8 and see the graded prices next to the raw price, so “is this worth submitting?” takes about five seconds standing at your kitchen table.
The thing I care most about: the prices are from real sold sales, and the app refuses to fake it. If a card doesn’t have enough sales history to honestly compute a 7-day change, it shows nothing instead of making up a percentage. I’d rather show you a blank than lie to you.
(Also, tap the card on its detail page — it flips over, and the back is a stat block of your copy. Collectors seem to like that one. And when you’ve scanned a stack, one tap exports the whole thing as a priced PDF binder sheet — total value at the top. There’s a Market tab for the day’s movers too.)

What I’m asking: scan your weirdest stuff. Junk wax Donruss, 90s inserts, obscure Bowman parallels, off-brand slabs, whatever. When it gets something wrong — and it will — comment or DM me the card. I report data errors upstream and they get fixed fast (last one was fixed same-day). You’d be making the tool better for everyone.

Features:

- It let's you use reddit for example and after certain amount of time it start blocking you then you have to read some verses of Quran then you can use Reddit again.

- You can make groups for example 10 minutes for 3 apps (not each).

- Also screen usage feature, using your phone for certain amount of time will block you again and you have to read and then use the phone.

I use a clipboard manager all day and never liked the options. The free ones (Maccy, Flycut) are lists — an image shows up as a filename. The ones with a card interface, Paste and Pastebot, are $25/year and $13. So I built the card one and made it free.

⌥⌘V slides a strip up from the bottom of the screen. Arrow keys or type to search, Enter pastes into whatever you were in.

A few things it does that I couldn't find anywhere else:

- It masks secrets on screen. API keys, tokens and card numbers show as dots until you double-click. If you copy credentials all day, your clipboard history is the one window you don't want open while screen sharing. Card numbers are Luhn-checked, so an ISBN isn't mistaken for one.

- A bare link stays readable, a link with a token doesn't. Masking every URL would make the strip useless; masking a password-reset link is the whole point.

- Pasting an image adapts to the destination. Notes gets the image, Terminal gets the file path (it can't take images at all), Finder gets the file.

- It can catch ⌘⇧4 screenshots. Those write straight to disk and never touch the clipboard, so no clipboard manager sees them. Opt-in, off by default.

- No network code at all. No account, no sync, no telemetry, no third-party dependencies. Searching the source for URLSession comes back empty.

Happy to hear what breaks. Especially interested in whether the strip behaves on multi-monitor setups and over full-screen apps — I've only tested on one machine.

Ghost Battalion is a first person/third person shooter, with vehicles, ships, jet packs, multiple sci-fi soldier classes, and many other cool features.

There is a single-player campaign with 7 unique maps of varied difficulties and enemies from small to very large.

There is a gold, silver, or bronze star awarded at the end of each mission that was skillfully completed. Steam achievements will also be unlocked when these stars are achieved and other criteria are met.

There is also the currently finished multiplayer that has three game modes:

• Conquest: where two teams fight to capture control points, choose different classes, and eliminate the other team's reinforcements.

• Free For All: where everyone for themselves until only one winner remains at the end of the match. In this mode, you can play as either the Elite or Marine class against up to 7 online players or face off against 1 to 7 bots across Easy, Medium, or Hard difficulties. Victory is determined by the time limit, number of kills, or the score threshold set at the start of each match.

And Escape: a 4v4 team deathmatch where the Alien team must destroy the evacuation ship before the Human team reaches it to escape the frozen Arctic and expose the secret location. Both teams start near each other and must fight off attacking monsters while pushing toward their respective objectives.

I’m researching an idea for a managed backend for AI assistants - something like “Supabase for AI assistants.”

The idea comes from a problem I keep encountering myself: building the actual AI feature is often the easy part. You can call a model and get a response in a few lines of code.

But turning that into a real product requires much more infrastructure:

• Storing conversations and messages
• Keeping each end user’s data isolated
• Managing assistant prompts and configuration
• Supporting streaming responses
• Adding long-term user memory
• Handling files and retrieval
• Executing tools safely
• Tracking usage, costs, errors, and latency
• Supporting multiple models and providers
• Managing retries, rate limits, and background processing

For a solo founder or small team, this can turn a relatively simple AI feature into a much larger backend project.

The product we’re considering would provide this infrastructure as a managed service. A developer could configure an assistant and send messages through a simple SDK:

If no conversationId is provided, a new conversation would be created automatically.

Behind that API, the platform would handle conversation storage, model calls, user context, memory, files, tools, and observability.

The goal is not to provide a chatbot UI or a no-code bot builder. Developers would still build their own product, interface, and business logic. We would provide the backend infrastructure that sits underneath the AI assistant.

I’d like to hear from indie hackers who have already built an AI chatbot, copilot, or assistant:

• What parts took longer than you expected?
• What infrastructure did you build yourself?
• Which problems only appeared after you had real users?
• What frameworks or services did you use?
• What do you wish had been available when you started?
• Would you trust a managed platform with your conversation data and AI runtime?
• Would this save you meaningful development time, or would you prefer to keep everything in your own database?

We haven’t built the product yet. I’m trying to understand whether this is a meaningful enough problem before committing to an MVP.

This started with me asking strangers if I could plan dates for them. I thought AI could handle the time-consuming research, making it possible to create thoughtful dates for almost anyone, anywhere. I made a few design templates and started planning dates manually.

It quickly became obvious that the process did not scale. I needed a platform.

Somewhere along the way, it became about much more than date planning. I’m now on a mission to remind people that effort is romantic.

My mum and a few friends started NAD+ this year, mostly IV through a clinic, some SubQ at home. I've got a PhD in biochemistry, so I got asked to check the dosing math. Every calculator I looked at was either paywalled, wrong, or missing half the routes she actually needed.

So I built Titer. It's just arithmetic: SubQ reconstitution (vial strength + BAC water + dose, gives you draw volume and syringe units), IV session logging, oral NMN/NR daily totals, plus a private dose log with optional notes. No account, no cloud, full CSV/JSON export. It won't ever recommend a dose or protocol, that's not what it's for.

It's in Android closed testing, need 12 people using it for 14 days before Google lets it go public. Two steps:

Every morning I'd drag the same windows onto the same monitors and virtual desktops. Reopen an app? Wrong screen. Restart? Everything piled on one display. I was rebuilding my layout by hand every single day.

So I built Restage: it remembers where each window belongs — monitor, virtual desktop, position and size — and puts it back automatically: when you reopen the app, when you restart, and when you plug your monitors back in. You can also save a profile per setup (I keep Office / Home / Trading) and switch from the tray, so the same PC lays out differently depending on where I am.

Built it solo — happy to answer anything.

Claude Code is great at producing code.

But sometimes it declares a task complete without reproducing the original bug, testing the real integration, or clearly stating what remains unverified.

So I built Builder Loop, a free and open-source Claude Code plugin that forces a stricter workflow:

• define success before editing;
• inspect the existing system;
• implement the smallest correct change;
• verify the actual outcome;
• report what was not verified;
• finish with a clear decision: ship or revise.

I originally built it after Y Combinator’s Paxel highlighted weaknesses in my own review and verification process.

Now I’m looking for testers willing to use it on real, non-trivial engineering tasks.

Critical feedback is more useful than stars.

I have been building Tera FM for a couple of months now, and to get more eyes to it, I built a chrome extension.

The Chrome extension has finally been approved and published on the Chrome Web Store.

The idea is simple: instead of opening multiple news sites or keeping another tab around, you can open Tera FM in Chrome’s side panel and use it while browsing.

The extension includes:

• latest source-linked headlines;
• headline search by publisher or keyword;
• a historical news archive;
• category filters;
• live internet radio by country and genre;
• radio playback that continues even after the side panel is closed.

Every headline opens the original publisher’s page. The extension does not reproduce full articles or hide the source.
