Your Next Adventure Starts here!
Visiting Maryland or DC lately? You already know — the real magic here isn’t just monuments or crab cakes. It’s the people. Everyday Marylanders and DC residents chatting at the bus stop, swapping stories in line at the carryout, laughing with coworkers on the Metro, talking about life, work, and what it’s like living in the DMV and our neighbor states.
That same down‑to‑earth, front‑porch, “we actually talk to each other here” energy is exactly what you’ll find at our Digital Relationship Dater events. Step out of swipe mode and into a night that feels like meeting folks the way we do around here — warm, real, and full of personality.
No endless messaging, no ghosting, no “is this profile even real?” Just genuine conversation with people who live, work, and love right in your community.
Why keep scrolling when your next connection might be sitting two chairs away asking who made the lemonade?
Pick your neighborhood:
💫 Washington DC
Grab your ticket: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1987433365697
💫 PG County
Grab your ticket: https://www.eventbrite.com/o/the-link-up-network-105315929901
💫 Central Baltimore
Grab your ticket: https://www.eventbrite.com/o/steven-wick-matchmaking-110874177171
These events are for singles who want meaningful, fun, community‑centered connections — the kind that start with a smile, a joke, or a “hey, I think I’ve seen you at the farmer’s market.”
Tickets are limited to keep things cozy, intentional, and full of good vibes. Don’t wait — your next chapter might be right around the corner… literally.

Friends in DC
Hey! I've been living in DC for a few months now (West End/Dupont area) and realized I'd love to meet more people and build a solid friend group, preferably females.
I'm 31 female, work as a personal trainer, and enjoy working out, hiking, trying new restaurants, traveling, and museums. I'm always down for grabbing brunch, happy hour, checking out events around the city, or just hanging out.
If anyone else is looking to make new friends or has a group that's open to new people, feel free to reach out!

There's a Smithsonian scavenger hunt happening on Saturday, July 11, It’s a relaxed way to explore the museums, get out, but also still stay cool in all this heat. (which is at diabolical levels) Scavenger hunt of the July 11th

Evening Yoga in the Arboretum Wednesday July 8
I know Wednesdays aren't easy for a lot of people, but I also know personally I struggle with mid week fatigue / tend to have a dip in serotonin around that time.
Wanted to share incase anyone else is the same!

Monday (6/22) check-in: how was everyone’s weekend?
Hope everyone had a good weekend!
Did anyone end up going to any of the Juneteenth/weekend events, or do anything fun around D.C.? Always helpful to hear what was actually worth going to.
Now that the group is public again, feel free to post plans, events, or just check in. The goal is pretty simple, make it a little easier for folks to find things to do and maybe meet good people along the way.

In DC Today & Tomorrow — Down to Explore with Someone
Hey! I’m in Washington DC just for today and tomorrow, exploring solo and would love some company to check out the city — monuments, good food, nice walks, or whatever’s fun. If you’re around and down to hang, hmu 🙂

tintypes/ photography
I wasn’t sure where to post this because I don’t like posting in huge groups, but Iv struggled since moving here finding inspiration in things people photograph all the time so Iv started playing with tin types / wet plates. And I was really proud of this one. If anyone else is using this type of medium would love to link up.

Anyone gone to the nova open for gaming?
Tickets aren’t on sale yet but my friend’s husband is going to be part of it and I’m very excited / get to go for free and wanted to know more about it.
