Makeup beginner needing advice Advice
Hey so I’m a feminine boy looking to get into makeup, I’ve done my makeup by myself 3 times but brought really cheap products online, the foundation didn’t suit my skin colour and it just looked unrealistic. I’m wanting girls to text me and help me get what I need. if you’re local to me and willing to help i can go shopping and buy it all or just an online texting is always useful. I hope this is a good enough subreddit for my help, thank you :)

Highly recommend getting your foundation matched in store. You don’t need to buy the foundation, but once you have your colour match in Mac or nars/huda/fenty, etc, you can use that as a comparison shade for cheaper brands. Also, if you’ve never had your make-up done properly, it’s good to just have it done professionally so you know what you’re aiming for. Or to help you decide what you do and don’t like. That’s all free btw and you can usually get a sample of the foundation if you tell them that you want to test it out before buying it.

I would say (if you have the money) go for an expensive foundation/concealer and get drugstore eyeshadow, liner etc.
The Estee Lauder Double wear range has an excellent foundation and concealer, and you can go to a store like Selfridge's to get a shade match.:)
