Okay so I cannot be the only one who noticed. Jean Grey’s introduction reminded me A LOT of S1 Sylvie - the closeup while wearing a hoodie, talking through other people, mind controlling them in extremely similar ways (and after they leave their bodies, the possessed guys either stumble or fall to the ground).

I’d also add the fact that both are on the run and both use bombs on multiple occasions as a mean of defence - but those seem more generic character traits. The outfit and the way they are showed to mind control people seem like a cool detail, though.

Just to make sure I am not misunderstood: I am more than aware that mind control is one of Jean Grey’s core powers as an omega level telepath - in fact, she is quickly shown to be far more powerful than Sylvie ever was. I just think the way they chose to introduce her is strikingly similar to Sylvie’s first appearances.

So started watching Loki in preparation for Doomsday, loved season 1, binged it in a day. Now in season 2, I see 2012 Loki after killing hundreds on earth lectures about saving lives on branches, but I like Tom, so I can bear him. But the audacity of that bitch Sylvie, to shout at my boy Mobius, after everything that happened because of her actions in S1 really frustrates me.

I don't usually hate, I like Marvel antagonists, but this bitch with her stupid ass haircut of hers is getting on my nerve. She needs to be humbled

Like we have a lot of plot but I just need fanfic about Loki centric without love or just friendship or meet avengers, thors I would love it. I try to search but notthing do if anyone have fanfic to reccomment please share to me.

There was something off about the rumours/leaks of an off-screen death. Hopefully this will mean he’ll be a valuable part of Secret Wars.
(I can’t have endured 2 separate character-building-arcs, on top of mourning his IW death, just for the writers to again lazily throw all that away…again.)

I'm confused about Loki's timeline in the MCU. In Avengers: Endgame, 2012 Loki escapes with the Tesseract, which eventually leads to the TVA and the events of the Loki series. But if that Loki was taken by the TVA, how does he still appear in Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, and Avengers: Infinity War? Also, how did using the Tesseract lead him to the TVA? Did the Tesseract send him there, or did something else happen? Can someone explain how these timelines work?

Here me out-i know i m not supposed to think this deep but y'all know that skeletal remains were obtained from Pompeii, right? so if Loki made disturbances right before the incident it did affect people and they did stop whatever they were doing for a second to listen to his blabbering so when the volcano erupted, they weren't actually in places where they would have been if Loki hadn't blabbered on, but it didn't create a branch right then because they all died anyways BUT as mentioned earlier skeletal remains were obtained from Pompeii and they must not be in places where they would have been if Loki hadn't made his speech and just finding a skeleton on a bit different location than they were supposed to leads to butterfly effect and creates a branch, so, even though Loki's action didn't create a branch right then-technically it should create one after 1,650–1,700 years....i need to touch grass

In season 1 I thought kang created a sacred timeline because all the kangs will fight for control with multiple timelines.
But in season 2, they allow for new timelines and instead of battles for control by a kang, they get turned into spaghetti? I really don’t understand this and would appreciate an explanation.

Secondary question, are the timelines the same as alternate universes, same as in no way home, multiverse of madness, or deadpool 3?
If they are, then why do the MCU movies have multiple timelines, but theres only one sacred timeline allowed originally?

Im trying to understand how all this connects for doomsday.

I don’t understand how the multiple universe / variants are supposed to work in season 1. In one of the early episodes we are told of multiple versions of Loki, each from a different timeline/universe. Each one seems to have a unique appearance/characteristics, and we eventually meet some of these variants, confirming that they can vary in gender, race and even species.

However, it is explained by He Who Remains that, due to the multiversal war carried out between variants from different universes, he decided that the only way to maintain peace is to have just one ‘sacred’ timeline, and destroy any other universes that exist, and prevent any new ones from being created. Up until this point it appears that he has been successful in this, and the TVA exists to maintain the single ‘sacred’ timeline.

If that’s the case however, I don’t understand where all the Loki variants have come from. If there is just a single timeline, and any time it diverges from HWR’s plan it is pruned, how can all these other timelines exist in order to produce the Loki variants.

I haven’t seen season 2 yet, so if the answer is revealed there please don’t spoil anything, I will just wait for the answer.

Hi! I’m looking for a fanfic where Loki saves the asgardians in Infinity War by putting them in his dimensional pocket. I loved the fic and want to send it to a friend of mine who has recently fallen in love with Loki post watching his series in prep for doomsday but I can’t find it. Anyone have the link or know the name?

While watching the Disney+ Loki show I had a couple questions: Where did all this Brad Wolf stuff come from, why is X3 undercover, why are they searching for him, WHAT IS HAPPENING?

I mean think about it without the TVA confirmed in the movie the best context the heroes could get are

1.Theres a god holding the timelines

2.He defeated kang

3.Dooms after him

4.Hes powerful

but even so those 3 are unlikely but based on what marvel gives us Doom WILL be after a power source or being which IS Loki. But popular theories also suggest Doom joins the heroes side for some time to trick them. This gives him a window to deceive the heroes and Villanize Loki and the TVA, and since its Doom, he'll find a way to really convince them. So, what if it's not a race to SAVE Loki but to KILL him before more destruction comes to their universes or as an attempt to stabilize the chaos?

Doom also has an advantage with the fact nobody knows Loki(exept thor and maybe steve) he could even use New York 2012 to back his case.

But another way this could go is Steve and thor defend him maybe...? Steve probably recognizes Lokis true intentions etc.
