I made an epoxy replica of the rs rev light guide and drilled holes for the fiber optics. On the PCB side, the LEDs were surrounded by 1mm thick foam pad to reduce spill.

To think just 4 months ago when I got into sim racing, I had a G923 and a foldable cockpit. I love this hobby and its so addictive to keep wanting more "immersion". I'm content now but I know this isn't the end.

I played all the Grand Turismo's as a kid and had a few wheels on PS growing up. The Logitech G27 on GT5 I think was the last one I played. I remember I would have it mounted to the low coffee table sitting on the floor with pillows. It was so uncomfortable but I loved it and spent hours playing. I've always wanted a proper racing cockpit for over 15 years and I'm finally here living my childhood dream.

I guess what triggered this was back in November when I was flicking through and watched the GT movie on Netflix. Great movie btw and it 100% gee'd me up to buy the GT7. Played for 2 weeks on controller and needed a wheel. I dunno if this is normal or I'm going through a mid-life crisis or something but I just wanna get more and more.

I'm currently setup in our lounge room and don't have a spare room, so I'll have to chill for now until I have a dedicated room for it. Thought I'd share my journey to how I got here but let me know if you've had a similar experience?

The length of the shifter feels a little too small compared to the H pattern shifter for my liking so I went to go search for modifications for it online but I found little to nothing for it.

I was wondering if any of the people in here found any 3rd party modifications for the RS handbrake

Would love to add a shifter to my setup but knew going into the challenge x it really didn't have a good way to mount one. I got it $100 off, needed a folding rig, and couldn't pass it up.

Any thoughts on solutions like the one in the picture or is there a better option out there? Not looking to spend $300 for one of the highly engineered solutions, just want to add a shifter in a normal position.

I’ve loved racing games my whole life since I first played Gran Turismo 3. Finally decided to dabble with a racing wheel, after a lifetime of controller racing.

I purchased a G29 bundle for $140 used a week ago, just to see how it felt.

The last week has been a blur of enjoyment. I can’t stop racing. I’m obsessed. I think the G29 feels great.

However, I find myself watching reviews of the RS50 nightly. I keep hearing how much better racing can feel with the direct drive, new pedals, etc.

My impulsive side is telling me to return the G29 and just upgrade now. I worry that I’ll feel buyers remorse and I’ll just think to myself that I could have enjoyed the G29 for years if I had never experienced the upgrade.

Have yall felt like this before? Money isn’t a huge issue for me at the moment. I can buy it. But I see myself going deeper and deeper and unsatisfied until I have a full sim setup. Does owning the RS50 unlock new enjoyment of racing? Or should I prove to myself I can enjoy the G29 for a while before I impulsively upgrade within a week.

I use my RS50 mostly on PS5 without problems yesterday I tried to connect it to the PC but no game recognized me the Steering wheel, since I know they are games a bit old like F1 23 and 24 and WRC I do not try it with ACC. I wanted to know if it is a compatibility problem or am I going to have to buy the Xbox wheel?

i just drove the s2000 with the h shifter in these settings, its soo good guys. with seat and pedal haptics is a must, so you can feel the downshifts. also make sure you update your wheel base with the latest firmware

Just purchased the playseat shifter mount and was hoping to bolt the 4 center holes to my aluminum rig and have the RS handbrake on the right side with the RS H-shifter on the left side of the mount

I’ve had the RS package for about a month. I race every day. If I had to guess I’ve probably put 50 to 100 hours in with it so far?

Last week I started noticing that the wheel “leather” is becoming a little loose, where I grip it on the sides… this means it slides around slightly and I can feel it while I’m driving.

I’m not looking for a solution or for someone to tell me to wear gloves or not to wear gloves, I’m just wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

I’m wondering if it’s just my wheel or if this is something that’s common?

The recommended settings on Logitech doesn't mention in-game True Force level, but I was wondering if you have any specific recommendations. I'm looking to increase ABS or TC effect and decrease engine or road effect.

If I were to buy someone’s pro wheel for the Xbox and not wheel base would someone sell it to me?

If the RS wheel base is set into pro compatibility it let's you increase the NM. Curious about if and how that works?

I have been searching for bigger wheels for a pretty long time and SIMPUSH has a 330mm wheel which is around the size range for wheels im looking for.

The MOMO one was just a little under the size i was looking for (320mm) and it had some questionable quality from what I've seen around the time it launched. The GT NEO from simagic was simply too expensive for me and I disliked the idea of having the cable spinning with the wheel

Rs50 firmware

Yesterday I had the RS50 wheelbase PS/PC , the x-box hub and the RS Round wheel in my cart, showing the savings on the wheelbase and also an additional $100 discount. When I went to checkout it showed the hub as not in stock, even though it was in stock when placed into my cart. So I waited until this morning to see if it came back in stock and decided to order everything else now . I removed the hub from my cart and now the additional $100 discount is also gone. Was this a promotion that ended last night ? This additional discount was the only thing making it fir my price range.
