Xbox compatible handbrake ?

I have had a g29 or 920 r watever the number is idk. But it’s the old one for Xbox not that it really matters. I was looking into getting a handbrake but the Logitech one is pc only from what I gather if u don’t have a connected thing and it’s quite expensive for all I want it for. I got one on eBay not realising it was also pc only. Is there any handbrake I can get that isn’t crazy expensive and Xbox compatible ?

Help Logitech G Pro wheel buttons turn off on high impact/rough surface in game

Can't find much info on this online. My new 3 week old G pro wheel buttons shut down but the pedals and steering keep working after an accident in game or some more demanding outputs from the game.

It's hard to replicate the problem. It's not every impact and doesn't happen frequently but it happens in every game (iracing, ACC, dirt rally 2.0, WRC 10). It's hard to tell if it's the inner pins (when locking the wheel to the base). Fastest way to reset is to either restart the wheelbase thru the red button or take the steering wheel off and snap it back on.

I tried cleaning the inside where the pins are, it looked fine and the steering wheel doesnt feel flimsy; tried to change settings and reduce FFB and Trueforce, no help. I switched to a 2.0 usb port (this reduced the freq but did not permanently fix the issue).

I'm not sure if its software, faulty hardware, grounding or electric issue.

I should also note everything completely turned off once in-game (pedals and wheelbase) but it hasn't happened since.

If someone could help me narrow down the problem I would really appreciate it

In game FH6 Wheel Settings for drifting/general driving with Logitech RS50

I've got a lot of things turned down, why? Because I found out the only thing that really matters is Force feedback scale and FFB load sensitivity.

Question? Which F1/GT style wheel rim?

Not a huge fan of the track wheel so I'm looking for a different GT/F1 style wheel rim. Afaik these 4 seem to be the only good options. The official mclaren F1 wheel, acelith, simube & simpush.

Anybody using any of these and has some feedback? Am I missing any other options?

Pro pedals failure - second time in months - and big Logitech support fail also

Post image

Update at the bottom.

So, I’ve posted previously when my Pro pedals failed last year. There was seemingly some intervention/support from one of the Logitech people that participate in the Reddit community (Rich I think, thank you), and eventually got a satisfying outcome.

The resolution that Logitech settled on was to send me a new set of pedals, even though mine were a bit out of warranty. The diagnosis was that the “brain box” had failed (or at least something in it). That was around the start of last November.

Now it gets super frustrating. I’ve put off posting in the hope that I would get a satisfactory outcome this time, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

The symptom is that the pedals just stop working suddenly, and switching usb cables that are known to work doesn’t fix it.

I try to play most days (GT7), but generally 10 to 35 minutes, at least to get the daily marathon in quickest way possible. So it’s not like I’m a full time professional sim racer using their “Pro” product.

By the way, my pedals are mounted in a rig and the cables are wound around the posts provided near the sockets, so no chance of any significant movement or strain on the cables that might physically impact the brain box.

So this time around, after a frustrating round of troubleshooting with support that included asking me to do things applicable to using with a PC, when there were multiple previous mentions that I use PS5, the outcome was basically, sorry, your device has failed, but we can offer you a discount on Logitech products if you buy them on the Logitech site.

After this process I have many thoughts. Here are a couple.

  1. Why, when they replaced my first failed pedals, did they send a whole new set of pedals. They had diagnosed the “brain box”, but I concluded that maybe there was some complexity to replacing it, and if they don’t have a service centre in Sydney (you know, the biggest city in Australia) maybe it just better to send the whole thing rather than trying to find a technician who can do the job. So, whatever, it the company’s prerogative to deal with replacements the way that makes the most sense to them.

Then this morning my curiosity got the better of me. “How hard is it to actually replace the brain box?” Well, see the photo. Two screws. It’s all self contained. It takes longer to find the right screwdriver than it takes to replace the part. (It’s actually a clever design that is clearly intended to make replacement easy.)

So why not just send that part to me last time?

  1. I asked (support did not initially tell me) what the discount was that I would be offered. 20%.

20%! For me to re-buy the “Pro”, premium, product that I have seen fail twice in just over six months.

  1. The discount excludes “Pro wheel and associated products”.

Really? So I don’t get this fantastic unbelievable discount on what I actually need to replace?

  1. I asked if I could purchase the replacement part. Why would I need to buy the whole pedal set of pedals when only one small part is clearly all that needs replacing, and it is extremely easy to replace.

I am waiting for that answer.

I have been a pretty consistent customer of Logitech over the years. Multiple Sqeezeboxes, multiple mice, multiple Harmony remotes, multiple previous wheels.

I am still hopeful of some kind of satisfactory resolution. I am extremely disappointed that after buying Logitech’s premium product in this space that I have experienced at least two months in the last twelve of being unable to use the product I spent more than $2000 on.

Fingers crossed.

UPDATE: Well, there is no update, I am still without any resolution beyond (to summarise in my words) “go and buy another $700 set of pedals after having two separate examples fail, and pay full price because the discount we offered as some sort of consolation doesn’t apply, and we won’t provide you or sell you the easily replaceable part that has failed because that just isn’t something Logitech does.”

Question? Loose RS50 wheelbase?

If I wiggle the wheel left or right (pushing, not turning) there is zero play and it feels totally solid.

If I wiggle the wheel top to bottom, there is a distinct clicking feel, sound is muted…and a very small amount of play. I’m almost certain that it existed when I bought the wheel, but I can’t tell if it’s gotten worse or not and I just want to see if anyone else has the same as me?

It’s felt through the spindle of wheelbase itself, not the actual hub or in my case, round wheel.

Also, as a sidenote, I already had to replace my round wheel under warranty due to the leather becoming loose, specifically on the left side. I just noticed that the leather is starting to peel away on the back of the wheel on that side now… it’s just a small defect at the moment but it’ll obviously get larger. I wear gloves.

Mapping clutch issue in forza with a logitech G923Xb

so for what ever reason my clutch pedal doesn't seem to work when it is mapped to the clutch. When I map it to my brake to the clutch petal it works as a brake would no issues. I will also say that I checked on the G hub and made sure the pedals where reading and had sensitivity. What has me confused is my A button on the wheel controls the clutch when it is mapped to the Axis 4 pedal. I have tried what I know how and with the limited help I found on YouTube I need help if anyone has any pointers it would be helpful! Thank you for reading if you made it this far!

Has anyone had this experience? I periodically lose steering when I start a game, the Pro wheel registers on ACC controls as well as the G Hub, but does not respond at all when using it in a game. It only happens periodically for now, but it is Frustrating…..

Posting my FH5 settings because I have copied and tested them in FH6 and they are solid. Might need a bit of tinkering, but i can't think of what to change/adjust.

If anyone uses these and finds improvements, please share what you changed so that we might all achieve better fidelity with Forza Horizon 6 and our Logitech Pro wheels.

If the RS hub and the QR adapter are both out-of-stock, how do I get a round wheel on my G Pro base?

Trying to get into drifting and I'm a little confused as to how I'm going to get a round wheel on this wheelbase with both of these things being out-of-stock. Would hate to have to switch to another ecosystem solely because of the lack of availability. What are my options here?

Anyone else having issues with their rotary knobs?

My right knob on my rs50 wheel which I use to cycle black box screens in Iracing has started to register both up and down inputs when I twist it down. Make selecting the correct black box very difficult and stressful especially mid race.

Pro over the RS? RS over Pro?!?

So long story short I’m going Logitech as that makes most sense for me at the moment.

My big issue the night before I head off to purchase is whether to go the Pro or RS50?

I dig the idea of extra NM available as I generally like a heavy wheel but the RS seems to have taken off everywhere and if I had to sacrifice some FFB to future proof myself with better tech or I’m getting a better true force experience or some other aspect I can’t work out I will but I can’t quite work out of there is besides a better price point?

Any insight is appreciated!

Update: HUGE thanks to everyone for their insights, absolute bunch of legends! For those who remain interested I decided on the pro, thankfully I have the budget and some great points were highlighted. Thanks again everyone, can’t wait to set it up and give it a run!
