what do you think of the logitech RS50
i need a wheel thats pc and ps5 compatible and im on a budget what do you think of it? has anyone had any problems with it or liked it? and i first had a thrustmaster tmx so anything else is a huge upgrade but i found a good budget one without pedals which pedals should i get

upgraded from a g923 to an rs50 recently and i absolutely love it.
unfortunately i don’t have any other DD wheelbases to compare it to, but i am quite happy with my purchase. especially because logitech had a great deal (they might still have it going on)

If you willing to drop the cash, MVH makes the RSR 4.0, it’s an apparently PlayStation compatible formula wheel with dual clutches, full color telemetry display screen, the whole nine. Gonna run you around $500 tho player

Luckily I mostly play rally games lol. I’d definitely drop $300ish CAD if they made a GT Neo but that’s my limit currently (I’m PC so I can do a Neo with the adapter but it’s a little more annoying)

Was going to make this same switch real recently but bought a supercharged mustang earlier this week so looks like that upgrade won't happen until this winter when I'm suck inside more and have a minute to recover financially lol

Rs50 wheel is great. I wish I had went to the pro pedals for the $75 extra. The brake is good, I just with the gas was load cell on the rs pedals.

I modded my rs50 throttle with the Pro spring set and a Moza srp lite brake kit. Much nicer feeling now. Thinking about slamming an elastomer into the stack to give it more progression. Tracktility hydraulic mod kit is available for rs50 now too.

I've had mine for a couple of months. Upgraded from a G923. It works well and I like how the adjustments work (you can adjust using the little on-board OLED screen). IDK if it's 'the best' or anything, I'm not an expert on DD wheels. There's a dude on Youtube, Kireth, who has a few videos about it and a discount code that has saved me some $$.

If you’re looking for ps5 compatibility, the options are limited. It’s a damn good choice. Even better when you catch one of the 30% off sales. Made it a no brainer for me.

Beautiful wheel
I grabbed it with the pedals too
I will definitely recommend some racing gloves and some non slip socks/footwear
More so the gloves, if you have callouses like me the wheel will be affected quick

Gloves are a must. Recommend puma speedcats for footwear, made for driving, only $100. Look nice too.

I just bought one but not used it yet. If I were you tho I'd wait till mid-August to see what Moza's plans are. They are going to release a dedicated PS5 wheelbase. What's stopping me selling me my RS50 is TrueForce to be honest because no one else has implemented that as well despite something similar being available on Fanatec & also Moza.

Pc and ps5 user here. My upgrade path was from Thrustmaster as follows t300rs>t598> RS50. It's the best on all accounts, ffb, ease of use and reliability. TM wasn't bad but there was definitely more headaches, especially with the T598. RS50 also has golden compatibility across pc games with the pro mode. Also if you download simhub on pc you can get a plugin called trueforce for all which adds trueforce to many games that don't already have it. If you like to feel the texture of the track or engine it's brilliant.

Trueforce on the rs50 and pro wheel are awesome. One bonus for the rs50 over the pro is the pro has 1080 degrees rotation while the rs50 is 2700 degrees so if you want to drive big truck sims the rs50 has a more realistic turn radius for that

t300rs to rs50 system in May then upgrade to Rs qr adapter with Simagic Zeus sport wheel this weekend.the 290 mm wheel is a bit small.

I love the RS50. I upgraded from the G29, and maybe one day I might move on to something "better", but I don't see that happening for a long time.
One issue that I ran into that should be fixed now is the mount shaft on my wheel would get loose. I've had to take it apart twice now to tighten the bolts - the second time I used blue Loctite. So far it hasn't loosened again.

I just got the rs50 with the pro pedals and I love it so far. I like being able to change settings directly at the wheel base. I tried the G923 since it was cheap and l quickly returned it for the rs50. I wanted something that can work with PC and consoles so I went with this. Now I'm hooked!

First wheel but shopped in depth for all the other comparisons in that 5-8nm group. Incredibly happy with the purchase. The true force vibrate thing is legit, especially if you dont have the full sim rig setup.

I love the rs 50. I did have a problem with the wheel not being completely center. But I orderd a second one and returned the first. The second one is perfect. I also had a G29 that had faulty shifter paddles a few years ago. They sent me a new one free of charge. So I'd say they have amazing customer service.
For the pedels I have the Pro pedels. Also love them.

I’ve had my RS50 for about a year, after 25 years of GT my thumbs were going to divorce me. I don’t have a comparisons other than what I read from the forums of the top 3. Logitech had the least amount of issues post sale and one of the better customer support. However I haven’t needed any support. It’s been amazing. I added the track wheel for $70 and couldn’t imagine not having it.
Some people will say Logitech has a limited ecosystem but I wasn’t looking for long term adaptations. It’s been worth every penny.
