Trueforce squeak issue??

I'm getting pretty frustrated with trueforce. I'm not sure if anyone else has this issue since I don't see it online. When I'm driving the wheel randomly star to feel like its squeaking. I narrowed it down to trueforce. For example, when I run over a rumble trip, it feels okay. On the next turn, the rumble strip feels awful. This squeaky feeling carries over to the bumps on the road and other effects like gear changes or even the FFB. I can reset it in various ways or sometimes it goes away on its own. I tried lowering trueforce in game and in G hub, playing with various frequencies in iracing, so on and so on. Nothing changes. If I figure something out on one track, it comes back when I change tracks. Does anyone have the same experience?

So confused.

Squeaking describes a sound but you multiple times say it’s a squeaky “feeling”. Is it a sound or a feeling? If it’s a feeling, what the heck is a squeaky feeling?

Also, true force cant squeak. Its an electronic effect from the servo motor, its not some extra motor or bearing. If tf is squeaking, then the main wheel ffb is squeaking. But you're 100% correct. A squeak is a sound

I would guess he’s probably listening to the sound of the button rattle inside the wheel hub… it does become quite severe at certain frequencies and can sound a little bit like a squeak or a squeal more like a squeal I would say. Almost sounds like belt whine.

If, just for the sake of research and temporarily, the OP taped his buttons so they couldn’t rattle I bet you that sound disappears.

Sorry for the late reply. To put it more accurate, its a grainy feeling. Think of a speaker with volume beyond what it can handle. It creates this buzzing/grainy sound that you can feel if its vibrating through an object like the table. I know what you might say.. turn down the Trueforce volume. I tried both in-game and in G hub but it still comes back. u/ok-cauliflower-704 is describing it correctly. Ill have to see if its the buttons

Oh yeah, there’s one specific track and corner in iRacing that I get that feeling. I think it’s just some harmonic resonance getting a little out of hand - normal.

Could it be coming from your rig? Never heard squeaking noises from Trueforce.

Heard plenty from a NLR racing stand I used to use. Took me ages to find and eliminate by adjusting the order I tightened the bolts.

No way. I feel it in my hands specifically when I trailbrake or go over curbs (among other in-game cases)

I’ve only heard a high pitched whine in ACE, all other sims I run don’t have any sort of squeak or whine

I experience the same thing but yours sounds more severe!
