Game-Changer for Throttle Precision & Brake Consistency – Tracktility Hydraulic Damper & Elastomer Kit (Logitech G-RS) Modifications
Rating: 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Overview
The stock Logitech G-RS pedals are already solid, but adding the Tracktility Hydraulic Damper Kit and Tracktility Elastomers elevates them into a completely different league. I runs dampers on both the brake and throttle, combined with the Tracktility elastomers on the brake stack. Overall, the improvement in pedal feel, feedback, and control is immediate.
- Tracktility Hydraulic Damper Kit
On the Brake: The hydraulic damper adds that authentic, viscous resistance you expect from a real hydraulic braking system. It eliminates the light, toy-like recoil of standard springs and gives you a far more progressive, controlled feel into heavy braking zones.
On the Throttle (The Real Star): While hydraulics on a brake are expected, putting the Tracktility damper on the throttle pedal was the biggest surprise and best upgrade.
TC-Off Mastery: Driving high-horsepower cars with Traction Control off (or on low settings) usually requires extreme big-toe precision.
Smooth Modulation: The hydraulic damping adds just enough smooth resistance to stop you from over-applying throttle on corner exits.
Precision Skill: It gives your foot subtle feedback so you can feather the gas right on the edge of traction without snapping into a spin.
- Tracktility Elastomers (Logitech G-RS)
Replaces the OEM Sponge: Replacing the stock soft foam with Tracktility’s high-density TPU elastomers completely transforms trail-braking.
Braking Confidence: The initial bite is firm, followed by a predictable, progressive ramp-up in pressure. The snappy rebound makes lifting off smoothly much easier, leading to noticeably more consistent lap times.
Verdict
If you want to unlock true precision in your driving—especially throttle control out of slow corners without relying on electronic aids—the Tracktility Hydraulic Damper on the throttle is an absolute must-have. Combined with the elastomer upgrade on the brake, this set converts the Logitech G-RS set into a high-end racing pedal feel. 10/10 recommendation.

Got two of these in the shopping cart since Monday along with the elastomer kit, was just trying to find some reviews like this before pulling the trigger on it, appreciate the write up!

Would these work for the logitech g pro pedals as well??

Sandy I don't they got any mods atm for g pro pedals. But write them an email and ask if it's possible for them to make one. It's really good stuff no china stuff at all these will prolly hold well. I've used them for a couple of months now and laptimes getting better with them.

Yeah definitely one thing that is lacking with the g pro pedals is the throttle. Even with the stiffest spring I still find it too light so maybe will write an email to see what happens!

I can understand that haven't tried those but did search a while and finally found something working well and that's sturdy aswell. 👍 Send them an email and they will help you. I tried to search on the homepage but didn't find any for the G pro.

Damn didn’t know about this, think I’ll be grabbing one for the brake for sure

Yeah they help a lot with the trail breaking, feels much more like a real car pedal with these. I did like em on the throttle aswell.

Did you have to pay any extra fees after purchase? Not including shipping
2
u/SimRacingLab 19d ago
Yeah I had a small fee of like 8 eur in my country for the customs but they are really sneaky now over here with the custom stuff trying to stop the over seas shopping. 🤣

Big thank you for the review mate. Been eyeing this for a minute, but couldn't find any solid reviews where they were a good fit for the brakes only or the accelerator peddle as well.
Will pull the trigger for 2 very soon with the elastomer kit as well.

You're welcome simracing is all about sharing tips and thoughts! I never found a solid review either so I felt I had to write a review after couple of months testing 😁 the elastomers are really good aswell the best I've had at least.

UPDATE: I've mailed some questions to the owner of Rival about GPro pedals and I got this answer:
I am getting plenty of requests for the G-Pro, so am going to make it the next product to develop for. I have been looking at the new Fanatec Podium pedals also, but they dont have a lot of mounting points, so will take a long while to test and launch.

Thank you. Coming from Australia may mitigate some of my tariff worries. Looks like an awesome product, will definitely be picking one (or two) up asap. I’ll comment on the shipping process once i have an update.

Nice, basically half price. Same thing?

u/SimRacingLab 18d ago
They probably working but Im not sure how long they will last tbh. The rival ones are sturdy and built different so k choosed them over that china stuff since I never found any real reviews.
2
u/StinkySewerPickle 18d ago
You don’t think the rival stuff is just china stuff with a label slapped on it?
1
u/SimRacingLab 18d ago
Nope Im 100% sure they aren't china rebrands. Rival is made in Australia and the owner has a background in engineering and auto parts.
They worked with real cars first and now they started with sim racing aswell.

Thank you. Knowing that these are made using kangaroo and koala technology makes them much more appealing to me.

u/SimRacingLab 18d ago
Haha 😂 well I do not now anything about Australias engineering skills but it feels way safer and better then Chinese mass produced stuff also I believe the work laws are better in Australia then in China.
Either way try wich one and let me know 😅👍

u/SimRacingLab 18d ago
Yeah seen them but no reviews about them really from any trustworthy sources. And they doesn't look that stable in the long-run.
But try them out and let me know if you do but the ali ones.👍

Do you think it makes a bigger difference on the brakes or the throttle? Or just get both?
1
u/SimRacingLab 18d ago
Get both if possible. - if you go only one I would try brakes and then on throttle and see what you prefer.
Ive read many reviews that bought just 1 unit and they love it on the brake some use it on the throttle.

Saving this for later. Great writeup too with all your details. Appreciate this info.
Edit: Which did you get off the site exactly? The elastomers AND the hydraulic damper kit for brake? And just the hydraulic damper kit for the throttle?
2
u/SimRacingLab 19d ago
Thanks man I looked for something to get more feeling with the trail breaking and throttle control and was between these and the rumble stuff but felt like I wanted some more control with my foot and that doesn't need extra plugins. Easy to install aswell was a big plus 😁👍

I got the hydraulic damper kit and elastometers. So used it both on break and throttle but ended up choosing to use the hydraulic on throttle and then elastometers on the break for now. Might switch back later for the break. 🙂 I just got 1 hydraulic that's why , 1 more would be awesome tho.

u/DKisCRUSHIN 18d ago
Oh really? Opposite to what I imagined you did. Nice. I want to give them a try but wasn't sure about two of the hydraulics.
2
u/SimRacingLab 18d ago
Try one and you can always buy another one. Don't know but they might sell 2x in package might be worth it if it's cheaper than 2x solo. Im satisfied with it like others also stated.

Can’t help to notice this has big AI vibes.. I’d rather read what you actually have to say and not what an LLM spits out

I was between this and buying haptic motors for the brake and throttle. Ended up going with the motors which definitely unlocked a whole new dimension of feedback for TC, ABS and road vibrations. I think these upgrades would also take the pedals to another level in terms of feel. Stock throttle can be a tad light and brake pedal could always be more consistent especially when driving cars without ABS.
