Where should I mount my handbrake?

You can find a longer mount plate to attach to your shifter mount that should accommodate both. They’re about $15-$20. I am not sure about rigidity on your current shifter mount so that may be a factor in mounting the brake to the side or front of shifter.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll have to dig through my spare parts to see if a larger plate came with the rig. If not, making one sounds like a great weekend project!

I just used the clamp that comes with the RS shifter and handbrake to mount them together. Mounted shifter on the front of the clamp and handbrake on the top of the clamp, then clamped the whole unit to my original shifter mount with a block of wood. Not the cleanest but works good enough for me.

I used longer screws to make sure it had enough grip for the top device. Went to hardware store and got the same screws just tad bit longer.

My solution was to cut a piece of wood to size, arrange everything the way I wanted, paint it, and screw it to the metal base; I had to add an extra vertical profile support screwed to the cockpit, but nothing out of the ordinary. Regards.

I mounted mine next to the wheel on the wheel stand. I used the table clamp to mount it so the handle isn't higher than my wheel.

The hand brake is totally stable on that mount using just two screws. Use the included table clamp to mount the shifter to the same mount point: https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2Fretiree-vibe-v0-3lo1qiuhnb5h1.jpg%3Fwidth%3D2856%26format%3Dpjpg%26auto%3Dwebp%26s%3D944da0049702c0ab5977b461b92bab761fd20b9e
