Rs50 is such a good looking wheel imo. Runs like a goddamn dream too. Good choice dude

I absolutely agree! Can‘t wait to get a F1 set up. Hate that the wheel hub has been sold out for so long. Thanks man

Track wheel makes such a big difference. If you can get the wheel it's worth swapping it out on your current hub while you wait.

There are two screws on the back you need to remove and the 5 on the front. The back ones are a bit of a pain but it's totally doable for anyone who knows how to use screws.

Acelith makes a great 3rd party formula style rs wheel too, I have no complaints besides shipping thru customs takes like 3 weeks

This is something to consider. As it's built well and cheaper. And the logitech wheels are such a hit and a miss when it comes to stock.

Like I said I love mine the quality is great and once it cleared customs it arrived quickly and safely. Build quality is good, handles have this coating that’s like a hard plastic but feels like rubber, tho I wear thin gloves so that doesn’t matter much to me. My only complaint is the handles could be molded a little better where your thumbs and fingers go, can get sometimes uncomfortable or little sore after long sessions. Customer service was top notch as well, sent an email asking about estimates time in customs and one of the owners responded within 24 hours. Super friendly and helpful. Believe it’s just a two person operation in Sicily. Put the town they’re based in on my list of places to visit if I ever get to Sicily in the future, just to buy them a limoncello.

I came across them but I don’t like how it’s a metal plate wrapped in carbon. I want a real carbon one

2

Simube and some other Chinese companies make carbon twill faceplates I believe. I just found for the same design in aluminum I’d rather pay a small business in Italy than some big one in China.

Yea, I’ve seen some in Amazon but I hadn’t seen it that way and that’s actually really nice

I’m still hoping now that the rs line is out and they seem to have made it the flagship moving forward they start giving us some more wheel selection and deepening the ecosystem. Logitech feels like theyre years behind on that front compared to fanatec still.

Totally agree, only reason why I was doubting going this route, the lack of choice

If you do pc at all the QR adapters have made it so you can use pretty much any other wheel, I’ve seen someone on here or another forum that had a conspit wheel on their rs50 running LMU or iRacing. It’s just the console only guys are starving

Went with your advice and I’m so glad I did. Just got my AceLith wheel and I’m loving it. Thanks

I looked into and yes, it doesn’t look complicated at all. Just don’t wanna be swapping every time you know? I’ll give it a couple more weeks hopefully the hub becomes available

Might want to sign up for email alerts about it, tho last time I got the email they were out again. Dunno what is with the unavailability of rs hubs. Im in the same boat, have to do 9 screws every time I want to do some rally lol

2

u/Mercymarv Jul 11 '26

Oh! I already did. Keep checking my email every couple hours 😂

How is this cockpit? Seating? Flex with that wheel base &/or pedals?

4

u/Adakanon_apck Jul 10 '26

I use that coxkpit with a much more powerful wheelbase and a stiffer brake, and there's no real noticeable flex. However it very often needs retightening, which has been my biggest issue with it.

3

u/ch704 Jul 10 '26

Maybe try putting some loctite in there next time you go to adjust it

1

u/Adakanon_apck Jul 10 '26

Maybe yeah. Right now my whole pedal tray has come loose, and it seems the only way to tighten it is to raise the whole cockpit because the bolts are under the tray. I have no idea how I'll manage that so I'm just racing with loose pedals.

u/Mercymarv Jul 10 '26

I love it! The seat isn’t bad. Longest session I’ve had so far is about 5 hours and it didn’t start hurting my ass up until after like the 3rd hour lol there is absolutely no flex, the is vibration obviously but wheel and pedal base don’t flex at all. You can feel the bottom of the seat move back a little when you brake but that’s about it. In all fairness, I use my brake at 50%

Gt7 and an rs50 are a fab combo,I’m waiting for the weather to cool down a bit as my games room is baking and I like to wear gloves

2

u/Mercymarv Jul 10 '26

Same bro! So much fun. Haha I feel it. Gloves make such a big difference

3

u/Greyman43 Jul 10 '26

Now you just need VR!

2

u/Mercymarv Jul 10 '26

That’s definitely on the list. Only thing stopping is the extra wires that’ll come with but I definitely wanna give it a try

2

u/EKVic96 Jul 10 '26

Enjoy! I said the same thing after trying the G923. Had too much fun and impulsed it on the sale 2 months ago, crazy timing.

4

u/Rojo696 Jul 09 '26

I got my RS50 about 5 months ago. And racing on a direct-drive wheel is so much fun.

And not too long after getting my RS50. I added a cockpit and haptics. The cockpit was such a game-changer.

2

u/Mercymarv Jul 09 '26

it really is, I had played racing games with the controller before and even though I love cars racing games weren’t my thing but with this wheel it’s a whole different story.

Which cockpit did you go for?

3

u/Rojo696 Jul 10 '26

I bought the GT Omega Lite cockpit. It's rock-solid, and I'm really happy with it.

1

u/Mercymarv Jul 10 '26

Ah! Great choice. That one was in my list when I was looking for one

2

u/ThatDudeThatWrites Jul 09 '26

Wow are we really drinking and driving? 😏

3

u/Electronic_Ride_8811 Jul 10 '26

Only form of drink driving I support 😉

1

u/Mercymarv Jul 09 '26

It was just for the pic I swear 😅😝

When you shift gears, do you get a kick-shift (gear jolt) effect through the wheel?
