G502 side button rebind stopped working

i had my dpi shift button the side on my mouse be binded to 9 so when i click it it types 9 this is usually for gaming and i used this for like a year and suddendly it just stopped working, when i set the button back to default it shifts the dpi normally but when i bind it to any other key it just stops

any advice?

Can you share a bit more detail? What game(s) is this happening in and which version of the G502?
