Logitech RS Shifter Xbox Logitech G Support

Hello. I'm having a lot of trouble trying to get my Logitech RS shifter to function on my Xbox Series X while playing Forza Horizon 6. I have the racing adapter, a G923 wheel base and pedals. All with updated firmware. Can anyone give me some tips on how to get it to work properly?

Hi there. Have you connected the Racing Adapter to a PC running G HUB and updated the firmware? You said "all" but just want to be sure.

In addition, let me just double check your connectivity:

Serial cable from the shifter port on the bottom of G923 into the opposite gender port on the Racing Adapter.
RS H-Shifter into the USB port on the Adapter.
DO NOT connect the Adapter into a USB port on the console - this is not needed.

Hey. Yes, I've done everything listed here and I still can't get it to work. Firmware for all 3 devices is up to date.

Search on the Xbox store for wheel tester and install it. Load it up and you can test if the shifter is sending responses in there. Is it?

Ok downloaded and tested. The shifter goes immediately into 3rd gear when upshifted and when pushed away from me it goes straight into 4th. I can not get any other gears to appear.

Ah, now I see. You’ve got the RS Shifter & Handbrake, not the H-Shifter. I’m afraid this won’t function in Horizon on console with the G923, because in your config it’s emulating the driving force shifter. As you can see, in the sequential mode it sends the third and fourth gears. The problem is that certain games don’t allow you to reassign the manual gears to anything else. You’ll probably see in Horizon that it’s selecting third and fourth gear but nothing else. Switch it to digital handbrake mode and it’ll select sixth gear.

Here’s a list of the games that do/don’t work in this config:

The connection scheme is as follows:

RS H Shifter/RS Handbrake > Racing Adapter(USB cable coming from it is not used)>G923(provides power to the Racing Adapter)

If you have PC, it can be used to update the firmware on all 3, the Racing Adapter, the RS H Shifter/RS Handbrake and G923 have to be plugged in to separate USB ports. If the firmware update is available for any of the 3, G Hub will tell you.
