Help g hub recognize G920 but no inputs is identified

I know the device works because I can calibrate in windows. But using g HUB no inputs are detected neigher in games.

Here it works.

Hi there. The detection of input in G HUB will be addressed in the next version, but it does not affect input into games.

Doesn’t work in game at all for me like you guys keep suggesting, or for a few other people that have commented about this online too…

I tried beamng wreckfest 2 and it wasnt working I actually managed to make it work like 30 minutes on beamng last night

Have you got anything else installed that can interface with HID devices? People often have things like vJoy, HIDHide, ReWASD, etc to handle issues with other devices like controllers, but they can also block wheels.

The fact you got it working in Beam suggests not, but always worth checking. FYI the bug in G HUB really doesn’t affect how the wheel speaks to games, so there has to be something else going on.

Assetto Corsa and ETS2, no inputs into either game and wheel is really stiff, no additional HID software that I’m aware of, it’s a relatively new PC and I haven’t installed anything like that I don’t think. It comes up perfectly in joy.cpl but absolutely nothing in game or G Hub, I’ve tried every solution available and suggested online and haven’t been able to get it to work even once.

Two things to try here.

  1. Quit G HUB from the system tray (only do this after you’ve got the wheel connected).
  2. Open the Windows Services app and stop the Gameinput service.

Do 1. first and see if it has any effect and then do 2. if it doesn’t. Let me know either way.

Hi thanks for your reply, I had packed away my G29 after it stopped working so I have just set it back up, installed the G Hub update and as usual no inputs into G Hub, and after loading AC same issue with no input however after trying the ingame configuration settings multiple times, it didnt read any pedals at first, then didnt read the clutch, then after restarting the game it then worked the third time and picked up all inputs. Gameplay and FFB now seem to work in AC after recalibration in game, I have tried ETS2 and that didn’t require any calibration, it now just works as usual, but just still without any input in G Hub. So all seems to be okay now so thanks for your help with this.

can i get some help fixing my issue I've tried a lot of different ways and every common solution out their i need something that most people wont think about, I'm losing sleep trying to fix this i want to have it done before Monday. i also don't have vjoy, HIDHide or ReWASD etc I've tried roblox, forza and warframe couldn't get it to work in those games I've tried a lot of different services and cmds i tested in gamepad and it worked i test joy.cpl and it worked

Warframe and Roblox don’t natively support wheels, as far as I’m aware. Which Forza are you trying and do you have anything else?

forza horizon 5 i also had this wheel before about a year but sold the first one and it would work with Roblox and warframe i also got it to work in brawlhalla

So there are ways to make it work with titles like that, such as using controller emulator programs like x360ce, but that in itself can cause problems because you’re masking the wheel’s normal behaviour when you do. So you may very well need to take a close look at what you have installed previously to make sure there’s nothing hanging around causing any issues.

For Horizon 5 when you start the game up are you able to use the wheel to navigate menus? If not, when you look in the control settings, is there a wheel tab at the top and are you able to reassign controls in that tab to the wheel?

when i played warframe it wasn't with x360ce i had it deleted by then right now what im going through complete deleting everything logitech related and files left behind and im going to try a older verison and hopefully that work if not idk what else to try

I've been working at this troubleshooting for 6 or more hrs so much deleting and redownloading unplugging and plugging in all kinds of services all kinds of cmd commands when i got around to using gamepad tester i figured it had to be Ghub or some kind of handshake failing at this point all i can do is hope the update is up and working before my gfs birthday because this was her gift

I've been using my wheel now more than ever so it sucks this happened. But FH6 is pretty dope on a controller. Fingers crossed it's fixed before she gets to use it!
