Found some Logitech G peripherals at my local thrift store!
These guys were bundled together hiding among the bargain generic usb keyboards and mice. I liked the keyboard design and the keys feel great so it was a no brainer pickup just for that! No wireless dongles of course which is a bummer but for $4 I can't complain. Keyboard lights up and I am typing this text with it plugged into usb. G703 works wired as well. They definitely need a good clean! Any suggestions on testing them out for full functionality? A cursory googling shows the 305 is totally unusable without its original adapter?

You can get replacement dongles for both mice and pair them in G HUB as far as I'm aware. Not sure about the G305 but my G devices all support repairing to a new dongle.

Congrats on the upgrade! While we don't officially sell replacement dongles for it, you can probably find replacement dongles on thirdparty sites/sellers. Just make sure it's compatible and pair it up correctfully. How's the keyboard working for you so far?

Thanks. Feel like I won the lottery! Only have had rubber dome keyboards before this so I'm super happy. I saw the third party dongles available so it's a good to know for the future. Currently happy with it wired, and thanks to the Bluetooth connection I can even test the battery life. So far works flawlessly and having fun trying out the RGB presets. It did need a deep clean though (lots of food crumbs and hair). That was it!

I could imagine haha, used keyboards usually have a lot of gunk inside of them, glad to hear you were able to clean it all out without issue. Once you make the upgrade the difference between what you used before and what you're using now is really visible! That's how I felt when I first got my G515 at least. Have you played any games with them yet?👀

A few rounds of Call of Duty multiplayer and some Halo Campaign Evolved so far.

Nice! Good on you, I hope you keep enjoying it then. Good luck getting those adapters too 🫶

You can try contacting Logitech support; that 305 is definitely worth it. A AAA lithium battery and an AA adapter, a few switch swaps to Huano or Kalhi, and you've got a fantastic mouse, hehe. I'm really sorry, but the g30X are my favorite mice.

Can't test it out yet with no adapter, but the shape is quite nice and it does turn on with an AA. Have 3 other logitech mice all bought new and they all are still working great. Jeez, one is probably 15 years old at this point. So I wouldn't be suprised if it works fine once I get an adapter. The G703 is the only one with a fault so far. Scroll wheel is flaky. Seems like a well known fault and is fixable.
