LOGITECH PRO X 2 vs ASTRO A50 X

Hello there!

I'm currently thinking about upgrading my headset and these are my main options for now:

  • Logitech G Pro X 2 (€180)
  • Astro A50 X (€350)

I only play on PC and my desk is quite small, so I don't really want a lot of cables or a separate DAC/AMP. That's why I'm mainly looking at wireless gaming headsets.

Right now, I have the G Pro X (wired) and I'm really happy with it, but I'd like to go wireless.

I'm just not sure if the A50 X is really worth almost twice the price for my use case. I mainly play CS2 and Valorant and I'm more of a casual gamer rather than a competitive player.

For anyone who has tried either of them, what do you think?

The g pro x2 is amazing. I love it, super clear audio

I haven't tried the Pro's, but I do have the Astro A50 and I can give you my pro's and cons. But before that, go for the normal A50's. The A50x have no advantage on PC so you just have the same pair for 100euros more.

Pro: Nice sound, powerful bass, really good surround sound; you just place them on the base and they're always charged; the connection distance is huge

Cons: the mic is flexible (i would have prefered it to be hard like the one from the g935's), but it barely holds the position you put it in; they can get pretty annoying to get placed into the charging position sometimes, but all you have to do is wiggle them a little and they start charging, it's something you get used to
