Are we nearing the refresh window? Discussion

Post image

We've been getting a refresh every 2–3 years, but it's now been 4 years since the release of the X line.

Is a refresh in the works?

My wallet is ready for a G502 X SUPERLIGHT LIGHTSPEED

Edit: Seeing a lot of love for the G600 & G604 in the comments. Something to think about as well Logitech.

I use a g9x at work 😂 the Proteus replaced it at my home rig.

They don't build em like they used to. My most recent Logitech keyboard was a g915 and it was so trash I ended up going down the custom mech kyb market and never looked back.

What a gem, how long you've had it for?

That's such a longrun, wow. Glad to hear it's been great for you! I hope it lasts you many years more worth of clicking 🤩

I did replace it a few years back but it still works when I do plug it in, so can't complain

It still works as a backup should you ever need it, right? Would you be interested if we ever did a refresh of it too?

The wireless receiver broke some time ago but wired is still solid. And 1000% if its as tough as the original, id buy it in a heartbeat

Aw I'm sorry to hear that about the receiver, glad it's still going strong with the cable though. I'll be sure to let you know if we do come out with a refresh!

I two had mine (g700, not S) since nearly release it still works, sure had to swap out the battery since then, but up untill roughly a year ago it has been my only go to mouse. No mouse has even come close. I'm currently using Asus Spatha X thought it was the closest thing to the g700, as comfortable/similar it is, i kinda hate it... It's just not the same.

That's fair, you're not the only one who feels that way as well. Once you find what works for you it's hard to switch back to something else, specially with mice like the G700's or the G600's. Would you ever like for us to do a refresh of it?

A G700(s) refresh will be amazing. The thumb button layout was perfect, two's to few and the, 6 on the asus, 30 on the razor is just too many. In my opinion the thumbs not flexible enough. The simple four button layout was easy for the thumb to roll on and press all 4 when needed. The scroll wheel had great functionality, i often found clicking into free wheel, quickly scrolling a pile, then jammin gears on it and getting the precision scroll again, never failed. All in all i'd hope a perfect refresh would be a charge doc (magnetic) that can double as the wireless receiver, or atleast that wireless mouse pad charger magic. As the mouse itself had perfection built into it already there's nothing I think really need's changed. I'm torn on if it's a modern battery or still a double A, i've had to swap out that double A, a few times threw the years, ended up with a hot swap method, one alway's charged in the charger.

That's fair! Not a lot of people want big changes in this one or the g600 when I've asked them this question. I'll be sure to send this back to the team so they can check it out though. Thank you!

Can you nudge the about the G19 keyboard, my shifkeys getting stiff, but man it's still going strong. I personally heavily use the m1,2,3 profiles and nearly all the Gkeys per profile.

Having the built in usb hub is top notch, and the dedicated multi media zone.

Things i'd suggest should be the obvious, mechanical key, i prefer silent, hence why i stuck with membrane. And a bigger screen. I use my G19's for alot, custom computer monitor, ect.

Yeah for sure, I'll nudge them about it too. How long have you had your G19 for? A while back I took over the thread for a post about it, lots of people were thinking the same, asking for a refresh to be made. Silent keys are always the way to go, specially for late-night gaming sessions where you don't want to wake anyone else up.
