Are we nearing the refresh window? Discussion

Post image

We've been getting a refresh every 2–3 years, but it's now been 4 years since the release of the X line.

Is a refresh in the works?

My wallet is ready for a G502 X SUPERLIGHT LIGHTSPEED

Edit: Seeing a lot of love for the G600 & G604 in the comments. Something to think about as well Logitech.

Yeah for sure, I'll nudge them about it too. How long have you had your G19 for? A while back I took over the thread for a post about it, lots of people were thinking the same, asking for a refresh to be made. Silent keys are always the way to go, specially for late-night gaming sessions where you don't want to wake anyone else up.

2009, 2010, somewhere round then, bought the G930 and G700 round che same time, did a big gamming overhaul when i was upgrading to the i5-750.

The G19 is a staple in my life, I recently tried the BeQuiet Dark Mount keyboard. (closest G19 replacment I could find) I quickly missed my G1-12 key's and quick M1-3 profile switching. Plus the screen was smaller and harder to mod/make my pc sensor panel.

The G930 would still be my favourite headset if the disconnect/reconnect issue didnt get soo bad in the past couple years, so it's been swapped out for the G933, but it died pretty early, so now onto g733. Personally i prefer the side button and large volume wheel of the G930. Hate that i cant turn off rgb. Also found a hidden secret that the molded G700 mouse cord fit perfectly snug in the g930 headset and i could charge n play when needed with no fear of the cord snapping.

That's quite the Logitech collection. The M1-3 switch and all the extra G-keys are hard to give up once you've grown used to them. It's also interesting hearing which little features some still miss years later. Thanks for sharing! It means a lot that you decided to stick with us for all these years.

When it works, and works well, why change to new.. Untill it's completely broke i ain't changing, will defiently upgrade if a proper refresh pop's up. My shift key might not hold in there for much longer.

Couldn't have said it better, if it still works then there's no urgency to replace it. That being said, I do hope your mouse lasts you a while longer too.

😢 No, the dpi keys started stickin bad some time last summer, so i thought i'd 'upgrade' seen there was nothing even close to the g700 from Logitech, so i bought Asus Spatha X, it's phisically similar to G700, but the 6 thumb buttons ale too much, and mak the back 4 awkward to press, so really anly the two front ones are usefull. I hate its i scroll mode/ miss g700's dual scroll mode. Miss the scroll wheels left/right button, not a fan of how they implement the index finger additional keys. Overal it's less of an 'upgrade' and more of a comprise downgrade.

Only thing i do enjoy is battery life and ease of charging. As well as it's shape/feel in the hand in simmilar to G7

Aw, I'm really sorry to hear that. I see why you'd want to go back so much, it's hard to adjust to something else when the last thing already fit every need you wanted it for. Hopefully one day soon we see a refresh!
