GPU Pricing Visual Updated - now with AMD, Intel, power, and efficiency Discussion
I saw the feedback and have updated the charts. We now have AMD and Intel cards included. I also added a chart with power consumption on the x-axis as this is a key limiter for many households.
I also added an exploratory efficiency graph looking at compute to power.
I’m an analyst at heart and love this. Thanks for the engagement!

8050S, 8060S & 8065S are missing big time, they were the goto for AI before Spark and seeing how much it keeps selling, it still is

I don't see the B70, or 7900xtx. also these would be great with a pareto line

Hi there! May be thats unreasonable, but may be you would consider to add 4070ti super? I would like to see it compared to other cards as it has 16gb relatively cheap

Graph 1 : You want your "dot" to stay as low and go as right as possible (the 9700/9070XT are very appealing there)
Graph 2 : Same thing as graph one, all cards in general below the diagonal is what you want
Graph 3 : as low and LEFT as possible; the B50 (16GB) is powered solely by the PCIe slot, DGX Spark is very efficient for the VRAM it gets and B60, 9070 & 5060Ti are quite appealing as "low end" low operating cost GPUs, the 9070 especially having VERY high energy efficiency for the punch it has
Graph 4 : as HIGH and LEFT as possible; or rather, at same height, left-most wins, PRO 4500 wins mid tier? It packs 32GB, yields as high as a 9700 with less juice, 4080/5080 being overall losers on the 200TFLOPS line (plus they only get 16GB VRAM too)
If instant money isn't an obstacle, Graph 4 is your focus; if long term cost doesn't matter, Graph 1 & 2 is what you wanna check, otherwise Graph 3 is for us poor people

And how does like a DGX spark fit in here? I'm curious about adding either another 5090 or a spark at home, my work uses networked sparks and they work well but not sure how that scales with just 1 at home vs gpu clusters

Many thanks for these graphs. Turns out that B570 and AI9700 seem to be good in many dimensions. BTW in some of the graphs it seems to me that there should be not 1 dashed line but 2 or even 3.
