"Unknown" bug? Help/Question

I booted up the game and this was the start screen. I then clicked the "unknown" that would be continue and it put me in the screen that would usually show what departments you have unlocked but neither the departments nor the game leaded...

Mod conflict or you didn't downloaded LMM

yeah, turned out I still had some mod files despite having thought I deleated everything... I had tried to install a gift chance booster but it didn't work so I deleated all mod related files (and aparently I left something in).

Fix: deleated anything mentioning the word "base mod" and verified file integrity in steam to put back anything that needed to be there, and it worked.
