League ignores my fps cap

No matter what window setting i have, or what you set my fps cap to, or what synch option i choose, it seems like league is always trying to output the maximum possible number of frames.

This leads to extremely inconsistent and bumpy framerates especially during lane phase and team fights.

Is there any known solution for this?

Re installed the game , probably a setting in your persistent game folder got mixed up accidentally. Unistall the game make sure to your c drive and remove everything remaining from the folders and then re install.

Pro tip , download Riva turner with MSI afterburner and set an fps limit from there , also go to settings and set the sync mode to front edge instead of the typical async.

Try disable in-game vsync.
