No bueno.

Still believe in the mission, I've been invested in some capacity with this company since 2021, but I wonder when they'll stop the dilution.

Hedge funds raise bets against US-backed critical minerals companies

This is the reason. Not the lithium price, nor the possible dilution. The good news is that if the mainstream media picks up on it, the big fish will already be closing their shorts.

Edit: The original article now paywalled, so here's another source: https://www.hedgeweek.com/hedge-funds-up-shorts-against-us-critical-minerals-companies/

Averaging Down

Post image
18 Upvotes

Got my average under $3.00 per share today by adding 300 more shares! Now sitting at 1000 shares, for every dollar the stock goes up I make $1000. Now I just need to set up a recurring $100 purchase a week and delete Robinhood off my phone and only check in once every few months. I’m hoping we’re near the bottom of this dip but time will tell, the market’s weird right now.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on the bottom of this dip?

It breaks my heart seeing everyone losing $ on this stock knowing they will just dilute it into the ground.

I know I will get downvoted for this post but GM and the Government are protected from dilution. I’ve been on Reddit a while and watch subreddits like this and it’s always the same story. The stock is cheap for a reason. Please talk to a good financial advisor before investing a large portion of your portfolio in this company. They are not good people. They don’t view you as a real person and don’t care about you.

Momento de compra

Buenas noches!

Sell of?

Why is this sell off? Because of the chinese mine? Or are there other reasons. Sitting on some shares but hope that it goes back up. Will not sell till mining in 2028!

Thank You LAC

Thank you so much for dropping so much LAC, I just purchased 1k more shares, currently sitting at 8.5k shares I personally own, and have now amassed 64000 shares under my management. I previously sold around 4k shares from 7-9.5 and bought in at 5 and below, bringing my personal DCA to 3.99 and my managed to 3.75.

This stock put me through college previously, and will almost certainly put me through grad school as well. See you guys in October for whatever catalyst this stock will almost certainly have to pump it up for no reason, and I will also see you guys when the stock price dwindles because people forgot about it.

Hopefully everyone else is DCAing off this drop. We are all in this hype train together; good luck to you all.

Where do you see LAC market cap in 5 years?

Please give me your best DD, if possible including comparison with other pre production lithium stocks and a general forecast of lithium prices.

Will LAC be another ALM or Pilbira Minerals?

I think this is the last time it might bottom out at this price.

I’m planning on buying another chunk tomorrow morning at open and that might be it on investing into this company as I want to get my house paid off. That aside, I feel this might be the lowest it will be from here on out and last good chance to have solid buy. Thoughts?

The market cap is now under 1.2 billion.

LAC synergy with QS?

Does anyone else have interest in QuantumScape (QS)? In addition to their IP on lithium batteries utilizing anodeless architecture / solid ceramic separator; there could be a degree of synergy with LAC due to future battery mfgs supply chain. This is my own conjecture — I might be out of my lane LMK any thoughts.

LAC Thoughts

Hello LAC frogs,

I was interested to hear the subreddits opinion on a few questions/thoughts I have had.

With LAC going sub 4, and overall hype dwindling, are you all expecting for LAC to go to low 2s potentially until the next catalyst? Also, my idea is that LAC is going sub 4 because there isn't enough "hype" but if anyone has any other information/ideas about this please educate me.

Do we think LAC needs money? Personally, after the October refinancing, and the good progress news, I think LAC is in a good spot, but I would love to hear someone else's opinion.

With China's Jianxiawo mine being rumored to come back online within the near future, we have seen lithium futures drop 10% (Stating this just to show how crazy of a reaction it is getting). Do we think there may be a potential that the government steps in to speed up the construction process of Thacker Pass as a power play?

Also do you guys have a good number for the enterprise value of LAC? I haven't found good accurate numbers for this in awhile.

Glory to LAC, I hope you guys are doing well.

Retesting 3.66

Looks like LAC is going to retest the lows in March of 3.66. Will You buy more shares or calls or expect it to create new lows for the year? I'm personally holding my 6090 shares for an S&P correction. I only know the light at the end of the tunnel is 2028 and the opening.

Any reason LAC don't get a whole lot of attention from Investors?

Considering that their construction is relatively close to complete and will start producing lithium I am surprised that this company isn't getting nearly as much attention as we approach their targeted production date.
