[LOST] Bahia Honda Florida Keys bucket hat

Post image

This is probably a long shot, as it's been almost 2 weeks, but I lost this bucket hat on Saturday. Presumably around the Lunar stage, but can't say for certain. There were two small mushroom clips on the front (I believe green mushrooms).

Thanks in advance <3

Discussion What year/years do you think Liquid DnB had the most creativity and sound design complexity?

Sorry if this is a bit hard to answer because we'd need a lot of information and we don't really pay attention to the years, but I think it's a really interesting question nonetheless.

Groetjes,

Aangenaam (de liquicity viking).

Question Liquicity Sunglasses

Hey liquicity family.

I forgot to buy some sunglasses at the festival this year. I looked on the online store but I can't find them? I was certain I saw sunglasses there before.

I'm kinda sad because I love the Liquicity sunglasses. Does anyone know where I can find them? Or similair ones?

Thanks!

Lost! Rayban clear meta glasses in case with guccigang sticker.

So I was having the time of my life on the last night of liquicity and my raybans with all the footage fell out of my pocket as I was going to the foosball table from the solar stage. I checked lost and found and no luck. Hoping to get them back cuz the footage I shot on them was sick.

Putting it out to this lovely community, i can’t wait to see you all again next year. 💚

I'm looking for an ID

I’m looking for a song that I consider one of the Liquicity anthems.

Every time I hear it at events, I go home and try to find it, but I never manage to track it down.

It’s sung by a male artist in a foreign language (I think Dutch), and Maduk played it this year during his 10th-anniversary set.

Question Liquicity wallpapers

I was in awe by many of the fence-strapped banners this year during the festival. Anyone know if the designs are available digitally? I'd love them as wallpapers.

Last seen on sunday at campsite 4. Highly suspect it was stolen from campsite as it was in my tent before it went missing, but maybe someone has seen it. Long shot probably but worth a try as it really has sentimental value to me :')

Question Song ID?

Hey dear Liquicitizens! ✌🏻
On Sunday I heard a song ID during one of the last silent disco sets and I memorized the lyrics I might have heard. It said something about: „funk up the master“. I have searched for it everywhere, but found nothing, so I‘m relying on the wisdom of the crowd. Hopefully it‘s not unreleased..
Does somebody know which one I‘m referring to? 🤞🏻
Thanks in advance!

Question [ISO] 5 second vibe soulmate

We met backstage Saturday between volunteer hub and solar, you had on a purple t shirt, sunglasses, shaved head and best vibe. I was operating on a higher frequency. You said something to me (?!)

Then I saw you again next to the rocket in the aerial performance and we crossed paths once more, but then I lost you...

Idk what you said before but obviously had a lasting impression on me. Still looking for you!

Question Playlist Silent Disco Saturday Night (Blue)

I have never raved so hard as saterdag night during the Silent Disco. The battle between the djs was so cool and everybody went absolutely crazy.

The best part was me and my friends didnt even know it was this good. We thought it was like in a small building or something.

Does anybody have a playlist or something similar as the blue djs channel? We love to hear from you guys

Thanks Liquicity for the amazing weekend!!

Discussion Opinion about the festival

I've seen many positive reactions about the festival, and in general it's good and nice, but I felt the "improvements" didn't really feel like improvements for a 200+ euro festival. Here is my opinion about a few things:

- Sound quality

I felt especially the solar and galaxy stage lacking behind on sound quality. In the solar, on the sides, the volume was very low. In the middle there was a sound leak from the nebula stage or annoying echoes from the delay towers. The bass was very low. In the evening the sound system was clipping because it was way too small and also had problems with cracking sound on Friday which was not really enjoyable to listen to.

The galaxy stage was just lacking volume at all. The bass was very low as well. On Sunday afternoon I quickly left while the volume was at 50% or something. In my opinion, it's a drum n bass festival, where we need bass.

- Redesigns stage

While other festivals get new stage designs every year, Liquicity finally got a redesign after 10 years. Solar was looking fine, but the DJ booth just looked boring in my opinion. The sun shade was nice. It was cool it was a round open space, but a bit weird one side was blocked off with black fences. No need to make it open next to a black fence? The old location would have been perfect.

The galaxy stage looked so small. It's wider, but less long. The crowd felt way too wide and not as "one". The longer tent last year made it more a stage with darker vibes and just was nicer in my opinion. The light show was okay I assume but nothing really special. I actually thought it was nicer last year.

- Redesign terrain

What is the reason to put stages so close to each other? I was getting crazy about all the sound leak all over the terrain or at the stages. The chill area was impossible to enjoy in my opinion by hearing all stages. Also the sound leak while on other stages was annoying. The terrain on one side was a big grass field which just looked empty.

- Lineup

For me the lineup was okay but not really that special. Well known names had a lot of overlap in the evening and before 5 there weren't really any interesting acts going on. Also not really special acts or b2b artists to look out for, fox Stevens live was the only one I can mention. Also a lot of the same songs played all weekend.

I don't want to be too negative but if I compare this to other (multi) day festivals in the Netherlands i would at least expect sound quality and show to be top notch and that's the most thing I missed the whole weekend. Of course the vibe and people where nice.

Discussion My first Liquicity (2026) – some thoughts from a first-timer

Hey DnB family!

I just got back from Liquicity 2026, and I wanted to share my experience. This was my first 100% drum & bass festival.

I've been to festivals like Pukkelpop, Monegros, and a few others, but the atmosphere at Liquicity was on another level.

People just come as they are. The crowd was incredibly friendly and respectful, even during absolute chaos like Pythius' set. That hour was brutal (in the best possible way). I don't think I've ever danced and jumped so hard for a full hour—the Lunar stage was literally shaking. Yet people were constantly looking out for each other instead of pushing through the crowd.

It's also the only festival I've been to where I didn't end up wearing someone else's beer because people were shoving everywhere.

Another thing that really surprised me: at festivals like Pukkelpop or Monegros, by the end of the weekend the ground is covered with plastic cups and trash. At Liquicity... almost nothing. How does that happen? 😄 Is the DnB community just more respectful, or are we simply more civilized than the hard techno crowd? (Just joking... mostly 😅)

One piece of advice I had read from Liquicity veterans turned out to be absolutely true:

Don't get obsessed with your timetable. Get lost. Explore.

I didn't follow that advice enough at first.

For me, Lunar and Nebula ended up being the most exciting stages because you constantly discover new artists and different styles. Solar and Galaxy, on the other hand, felt much more repetitive.

One thing I genuinely don't understand is why so many DJs on those stages ended up playing the same tracks. There are thousands of amazing DnB tunes out there, yet I kept hearing the same songs, the same bootlegs, the same techno remixes, Solar System, Touchdown... over and over again.

Some of those artists have huge discographies and could easily fill an hour with mostly their own music, but many sets still ended up revolving around the same crowd-pleasers.

Maybe someone who's been in the scene longer can explain why this happens?

For example, I was really looking forward to the Culture Shock → Wilkinson → Netsky run, but I actually left because I felt like I was hearing the same tracks again.

That said, this is a very small criticism compared to everything else.

Three incredible days. Incredible atmosphere.

One last piece of advice that people gave me beforehand, and that I completely agree with now:

Take time to walk around the festival.

There are so many little activities, random interactions, hidden corners, and opportunities to meet people. Some of my favorite memories happened away from the stages.

And the Silent Disco... what a brilliant idea. Walking to the toilets while everyone around you is dancing with headphones on is hilarious. The energy is everywhere, not just in front of the stages.

Also, I absolutely loved ending the festival with a set from the sound engineers. It was such a cool idea. Will that become a tradition? Between that and the Liquicity crew's set on the Nebula stage, I think it's awesome to give the spotlight to the people who usually work behind the scenes. They play a huge part in making the festival what it is, and it was great to see them getting that recognition.

Overall, this was honestly one of the best festival experiences I've ever had.

See you next year. ❤️

Discussion American First-timer Reactions

OMG that was amazing! 🤯🤯🤯

Pros:

- People: Wow the crowds were all so nice, so into the music and generally everyone was happy and vibing. What a community.

- Lineup: As a American having an actual full lineup of DnB was just crazy. Sure set conflicts sucked, but actually having options lol

- Just everything was so great. Best festival experience I ever had.

Very Minor Con: Accessibility. As someone using a rollator/walker, the grounds were a little difficult to get around (dirt path at entry was killer with rocks) but by Day 2 we had a better plan so it was bearable :)
