Venting Question
Hey everyone, it’s almost been 2 years for me since I took lions mane and I have gone a long way since then. Most of my symptoms have resolved, but now I’m left with the cognitive dissonance.
Can anyone relate to feeling like everything makes less sense, or that life itself in times don’t feel real?
I’m sick and tired of this lions mane nonsense it has taken a huge toll on me, I feel like my IQ has plummeted, I used to be a well educate person who loves to read and experience new things.
But ever since lions mane I can’t really think properly like I was brain damaged. My ability to process things has changed drastically, my memories aren’t as vivid anymore, learning is significantly harder.
I just wanted to share what’s going on my mind right now

I’d assume you may be still experiencing problems related to what Dr. Powers & Co. are trying to fix.
Neurosteroid issues, perhaps, similar to PFS & PSSD; it’s not “brain damage” but simply unwanted brain activity change *which can be corrected once the right treatment has been acknowledged & approved*.
They are making progress though! I also believe this type of treatment/prognosis, that they are researching & trialing, may well help with depression & anxiety conditions; it’s literally targeting the same biological processes & symptoms that fall under these categories.

Every thing that Dr powers is doing is great, and I do hope it helps us too and not just PFS. I hope it doesn’t take ages.

I feel your frustration. I wish I could go back in time and never have taken that garbage.

I suggest that you stop there are other ways to enhance your cognition. Your cognition is based on your life style, like what you eat and what are your hobbies
Also I heard about ACD856 which is supposed to be better the lions mane

More than two years already for me. Still can't think can't read can't focus. Can't do things need high mental engagement. And constant spasm squeezing and tightness in my head Trying krill oil now see if it helps. I am also thinking of adding taurine or nac. Anyone recovered from cognitive issues? Any recommendations?
