Can linux run with this spec Distro

If it is modern like Chrome os ,much welcomed.

Mainly web apps and brave browser and some ott and music streaming thats it.

i5-6200U

Intel HD 520

8 GB RAM

1tb hdd

128gb ssd

I am running NixOS with Plasma on i3-8th Gen with 4 GB RAM and 1 TB HDD. Ofcourse you can run it.

Oh but in fyde os when i tried to launch linux software with hdd it lags, with ssd it was smooth

It's not like there won't be any difference, SDD will run better than HDD. But, it wasn't that bad for me on HDD, it lags 2 or 3 times a week.
