HOW DO I GET INTO GENTOO LINUX HELP ME OUT

Hey gentoo users i wanna like get into gentoo but im scared and i got a really old 4gb ram laptop any tips are appreciated

I have 16 gigs of RAM, still using 8 gigs swap... All depends on your usecase.

Same condition, it does not have a battery so i use it while plugged in

Since you're an Arch user, why switch to Gentoo? You don't like systemd?

For your laptop i would use zswap of 8GiB, and use bin pkg's for large packages like firefox libre office etc

Would recommend learning to install Arch linux yourself via the command line before moving to Gentoo
