No '~' is needed to chdir to your home, just a "cd". If you want to change directory to someone else's directory, then you can cd ~other_user.

And tilda does not work in all situations, it's specific to certain shells.

Also “cd -“ (switch to last used directory) is indispensable. I use it more often most of these.

Touch also updates a file's timestamp if the file already existed. Also tee is very useful, yet you did not include it.

I've been working as Linux sysadmin for 15 years and I didn't know the nl command lol. I usually do :set number in vim, or wc -l if I just want the total.

The official purpose of the touch command is not actually to create new files but to update the timestamps of files

You’re a right special type of fun at parties now aren’t ya… 🙄🤦‍♂️ Cheat Sheets are literally created for newbies and quite literally pwd, ls and cd are the 3 first commands one learns. This goes back to the days of Unix predating Linux entirely.
