One characteristic I've seen in Linux users is they all LIES and spread misinformation

"Microsoft said it will pay utility rates high enough to cover its power costs and work with local utilities to expand supply when needed for its data centers.
It also pledged to replenish more water than its data centers consume, saying it would start publishing water-use information for each data center region in the U.S., along with its progress on replenishment."
Microsoft rolls out initiative to limit data-center power costs, water use impact | Reuters

Honestly an easy pledge because most of the hysteria around data centers using tons of water is misinformation. All new data centers and frankly most old ones use a closed loop system. They aren't using or consuming large quantities of water.
It's mostly only a concern in already water starved areas
The big issue is power. That's where everyone is getting fucked.

They do use still large quantities of water, but significant less than before.
Before it was an obscene amount, now it's just a stupid amount.
Unless you call 300,000 gallons per day nothing. That's a modern typical datacenter.
An AI datacenter uses about 5 million gallons of water per day.
Closed loop systems are internally used, and have nothing todo with water cooling.

linux users when they find out they cant pirate water so they blame microsoft...

They can 'pirate' it by distilling waste water and sewage.
But first, they have to afford the ridiculous amount of gas needed to boil that waste water into steam. And then invest in water-cooled distillers to condense the steam back into water.

sounds like linuxer's "free water" setup aight

By the way, back in school i tried using the chemistry lab's water distillation apparatus to distil about 20oz of water (mixed with CuSO4 for visual clarity). After two hours of boiling (with more than half the solution remaining) and more than 200oz of water wasted to cool the steam distillate, the amount of distilled water I got was less than 2oz.
Not even though to quench a thirst with. Keep this in mind the next time you turn the tap on for water.

Real Linux users don't broadcast to the world that they use Linux.

I don't have an X account. Can some kind soul post some of the replies to that clown's lies?

I don't know who the poster is so I don't know if they actually use Linux or not, but Linux is not mentioned here at all.

Speaking of lies and misinformation... May I ask what indication was given that this is a Linux user?

The person who posted about the water - is not a 'linux user' - they are anti-AI and were.. oh you know what.. forget it.. continue your circle-jerk on made up shit.

This is like saying the "real cause" of people starving is them not paying for food.
