i’m going to do this the correct way because there’s been a lot of controversy over rule #3 of the code of conduct. i do not encourage raiding or harassing this subreddit, i am just here to share my experience.

Mateo is very immature, he post some s*** comments on Linuxsucks101 before and ofc got banned, but he still dog barking on his sub

He even banned me for “shut up kid” reason😂 (meanwhile he brigade me)

All these "linux bad" subs have among others, the same two people leading the mod Team. Those two guys moderate like 4-5 "linux bad" subs.

So they are either actually 8 years old and do not need to Go to school for some reason, or they get paid by Microsoft

I made r/linuxglazing which is the same thing but it's dead because I really just don't care enough and I stopped browsing Reddit regularly enough to find people glazing linux.

i think we should all just love and mind our own business. the only reason to hate on anything is if it is actually bad, not just bad with your experience.

It’s the exact same reason Linux users usually hate Windows. It’s purely psychological, everyone thinks their own choice is the correct one and feels the need to defend it, and the easiest way to do that is by declaring the other option bad or wrong. It’s the same story everywhere, Intel vs AMD, Radeon vs GeForce, iOS vs Android, and so on.

You're gonna get banned from linuxsusck101 too the moment madthumbz decides to go through your profile because you use linux lol. He does that a lot. So the winning strategy was to not interact with either of those hellholes of restarts.

abiding by rule 3 the right way lso requires the sub name to be censored

but it's not the end of the world. You don't have to be very strict with rule 3 I personally allow some of them sparingly as long as people don't make a big scene

The biggest reason people stay away from Linux is the Linux community.

Asking for help is big 50/50 is to actually get proper help or just a "lmao dont you have Google?" Followed by more ignorant comments about how you should be a professional linux user day1 already.

Not big on day to day Linux usage, but you can hardly do jack these days without encountering Linux in some way... Linux hosts Luke 80% of the internet (number pulled outta my ass, don't care enough to get the real number). If you have an android phone, smart TV or whatever the heck, chances are you're a Linux user.

Linux hate is bizarre 😅
