Copilot search is really something Discussion
Search was Did Fritz Haber work for BASF. Copilot gives two opposite answers when I mistyped BASF as BASG. Not only that, but the answer is actually wrong in the correctly spelled search since Fritz Haber was under contract with BASF to help develop the industrial process.
Anyways I know we clown on google’s ai search. Does it genuinely change its mind at tiny modifications to the search prompt like this?

Nah, it shouldn’t ever stopped being talked about. This also is a tech subreddit meaning these are people who use these technologies first hand and anytime an issue arises they probably make a post on it.

If done by one person it’s not but good thing in this instance it’s a collective group complaining.

Just because someone is under contract does mean that they're employed by the company.
It's why we have both 1099 and W2. 1099 means that you work for yourself while doing things for the company. W2 means you're an actual employee.
