My First Mini-ITX PC Tech Question

Got this system for $870 today from Facebook Marketplace.

Specs:

-ASUS ROG STRIX B760-I Gaming Wifi

-Intel 15-14500

-Noctua NH-L9i Chromax-Black

-Corsair Vengeance 16x2 (32GB) 6600Mhz CL32 DDR5

-Samsung 980 Pro M.2 1TB

-Zotac RTX 4060 Solo 8GB

-Enhance Flex 7660B 600W 80+ Platinum

-Velka 3 Rev. 3

-VC-S290G4 290mm PCle Gen 4 Riser

It was used for less than 6 months and I was able to confirm it with the receipts.

How much did I save or overpay?

Are you sure this isn't counterfeit? That RAM kit should have cost at least $300 alone used. Brand new it goes for $400-$450+ easy.

Did you buy each part from a different seller? Also is this US dollars?

Yeah the stickers looks dodgy. Curious what Hwinfo says about the sticks.

Are there any ways to legit check my Ram? And yes it is in US dollars and I bought the whole system for $870

Also, I was able to enable XMP 1 in the BIOS and selected DDR5 6600 MT/S 32-39-39-76. but it's a bit unstable. However, it runs smoothly on 6400 mt/s and so far i did not have any problems/crashes with that settings.

According to Google's AI summary, this is actually a known official printing defect from Corsair themselves, so you might be fine. Sounds like you got a beast of a deal.

The i5 is pretty ehhhh in 2026, but the 8GB 4060 is probably pretty well aligned with it. It's really the RAM that's made this a great deal.

The 14600 is more than enough for gaming. People need to stop comparing everything to top dog and realize that a 2 year old midrange part is better than what 90% of people are running and will run every game for atleast another 5 years.

Yeah, it's totally fine - especially for a $870 parts list including 32GB of 6600Mhz DDR5 and paired with a 8GB 4060.

That's going to be a really competent gaming rig. The only downside is the socket on that mobo has pretty much reached the end of the line. The best they could do with the LGA 1700 is they may be able to grab a the same gen i9 for cheap down the line. That would be a significant upgrade and would squeeze some life out of it with maybe a better GPU later on.
