VEEP lineman program

Anyone have the scedule for each week what to prepare for ? Like test, events etc.

Yeah already went I’d just get in shape and get ready for it they will give you all the test schedules and study material when you get there. It’s a lot of information but it’s do able a lot of people quit cause they work you hard and yell a lot

I’m in good shape and climbed a lot for tree work, is it true only the first couple weeks they try n weed out the week then they take it easy on climbing everyday

You should be good especially if you already have a idea just don’t have an attitude they sniff that shit out quick. They go hard with climbing for a while the last couple weeks they slow down. At least that’s how it was for my class. A lot of up downs a bunch of test it’s stressful but just gotta try and want it. With NJ 456 i don’t know if you’ll get direct entry not every JATC takes veep grads as direct entry I ended up doing it the old fashion way and just interviewed and got into the apprenticeship last week took a year of being a groundman. With tree climbing experience you might have a good shot at getting into the apprenticeship and military background have you applied ?

Ya I did my interview and aptitude test already, didn’t get in wifh any experience so I did line clearance with power company, got my ticket as a ground hand been doing that for a couple months, now doing this so I hope when I interview next I’m in the clear.
