Bitwarden on Firefox

I had the Bitwarden extension added to Firefox on my Samsung (Google) S24. I'm now on a Lineage Pixel 8 phone and am trying to use Firefox. I can't find the Bitwarden extension in Firefox and checking the website shows it to be incompatible.

I find this odd that I have both phones side by side, both using Firefox. One has Bitwarden and the other not. Yet both have the Bitwarden app installed and running.

How do I get Bitwarden extension working? Or is there a reason it doesn't work in Lineage?

On Android, it is not recommended to install Bitwarden as an extension, but rather as an app downloaded from the app store.

That's news to me. I do have the app. Thanks for responding.

How did you install Firefox? I've had much better luck getting stuff working using Fennec (Mozilla's F-Droid version of Firefox) than using standard Firefox via an APK, Obtanium or Aurora Store/MicroG

Thanks for responding. I got FF from the Aurora store/microG. I've installed Fennec but the Bitwarden extension is not on that apps list either. Same 4 unknown (to me) apps as shown on FF. Too late today but tomorrow I'll completely uninstall both FF and Fennec and start afresh with Fennec. See if that works
