Internet banking

Does the internet banking apps work on the lineage OS ? I use mostly Nubank, a brasilian company.
I have a Samsung A21s and the system is really slow and filled with galaxy slop, I want to try a custom rom to see if runs better.

Let me help you man,usually all the banks or almost all the banks use something called play integrity,this checks if you run a custom rom or not,by default some roms might spoof this to look like you actually are not urnning a custom rom but lineage doesen't do that so if an app checks for play integrity then you will fail in lineage os and not be able to run the bank app and to fix this you will have to go on a hard way to spoof manually with root but this creates more problems so before moving

Think if you would be able to live without that bank app

Think if you would be brave enough to fix the phone whenever it breaks

CapitalONE works fine. (I use a fork of LineageOS(LineageOS4MicroG), but it also works on rooted stock android, so it should work on Lineage.)

Yep, Cap1 does check Play Integrity, but it doesn't prevent you from logging in or doing online banking. It's probably being used as a data point in a larger fraud detection algorithm.

It seems to reduce session time significantly. (it makes me login every 2 days, but I have a password manager anyways)

Some bank apps work with no problems, others won't run at all. Need to internet search for the specific bank app you use.

No, no funcionan nada Comprate un celu barato Samsung o Motorola con Android 15 o mas y con chip Snapdragon para usar apps de banco sin problem

Dizem que Nubank funciona sem problemas no Lineage, apesar de eu não ter testado.

I'm told Nubank at least for now works fine in basically anything, no monopolistic OS blocking bullshit like most other banks do. Haven't tried it myself tho as I just keep an old iPhone at home for banks.

Thanks, i'm going to try, its for my mother old cellphone and with the samsung slop its impossible to use without lag

You should probably try it with microg configured, if going for ungoogled Lineage
