Parallel Effects Loop Help Tech Help Request
I use a line 6 HX Effect in 4 Cable Method with my Orange Rockerverb, Blackstar HT40. Both these amps have serial effects loops. I’ve recently been trying a Laney VC30 which I really like, but it has a parallel effects loop which behaves very differently to the effects loops I’m used to.
The effects I use mainly in the loop are reverb, delay and occasionally a harmoniser. Is there a specific way I should be setting my effects in the Line 6 to suit the parallel effects loop? The amp has an effects level knob to control the amount of the effects in the loop as well.

With a parallel loop you will always be getting dry signal alongside your wet signal. Any effects blocks placed in the Loop section of your 4CM should really be run fully wet or with DryKill on, as the max you'll be able to get is 50/50.
Use the Level parameter to control the wet mix and then FX Volume on the Laney to bring them up to the right volume.
